I agree with your first paragraph.

As for the second, specifically about "extract their resources" has less to do with facts and more to do with the communist brainwashing that their movement is based on since the Cold War days.

Similar sentiments led to nationalisation of certain industries and state sponsored stealing of private land in the 70's. The leaders framed as sticking it to the "zalim zamindaars" for the benefit of the poor workers.

At least 20 people have been killed and 70 others injured in an explosion targeting a train transporting military personnel in Pakistan.

The blast occurred while the train was travelling through Chaman Phatak station in Quetta, the capital of the western Balochistan region, on Sunday morning.

Railway officials told BBC Urdu that three coaches and the engine were derailed while two were overturned. The shuttle service had primarily been transporting service personnel and their families who had been returning home for Eid.

The regional government said that the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) separatist group was responsible for the attack, adding that it was a suicide bombing.

Yeah that formula was tried in East Pakistan in 1971 and was a flop. Balochistan belongs to its natives and you have to grant them their legitimate constitutional and natural rights.

I fear the day when this rhetoric is used to target people of other ethnic communities in other provinces like happened in Karachi.
