Balochistan Terrorism Watch

nope but definitely not just 1500 , even bugti said it was 8000 i expect 10 to 12 ish k

There's no way there is a 12 thousand hardcore trained fighting militia in Balochistan utterly dedicated to a secessionist political ideology.

That would overrun majority of Pakistan not just Balochistan alone.

Just an experiment, if you go by the official number published numbers of the FAH casualties since last year, it would easily run up to couple thousand. So either the fighter strength is very high or the official casualty numbers are bogus. I for sure know the truth, you can pick whatever you want.

Vast majority of this group are foreign fighters according to that list too. It would be a very uneasy rude awakening to accept your 'truth' of mass scale insurgency in that territory.

What I meant to say was fighter strength may not be a five digit number, but the official casualty number certainly seems bogus.

Reinforcements sent to the area were also attacked near the Madina Hotel on the highway, where two vehicles were reportedly targeted.
If sent swiftly, the only positive aspect since the last attack.
Once you kill teachers and labourers and innocent travellers or behead police It's very difficult for anyone to treat you with any respect

It's no different to the Israelis, once you cross a red line of barbarity it's impossible to then go back and make peace
Please reconsider who is Israeli here.
There are inhabitants of the land. They may be racist, but they have been living there for millennia. They think their resources have been taken and their intellectuals or leaders have been killed or sidelined.
In return, they cross the boundary too and kill innocent civilians, workers, teachers, bureaucrats, etc., associated ethnically with the on ground (if not occupying) power.

Always happened when Lankan Tamils were sidelined, or Bengalis committed atrocities against Biharis, or Valley people against local Hindus, etc. Locals always go against any extension/sumbol associated with the centre (even roads, traffic signals, etc). The same things happen in protests elsewhere.

Now who killed first is egg-chicken problem. It didn't start now, or with Bugti's demise, but really in 1974 (previous uprisings were localised and minuscule). They have baggage and act accordingly. I am sure you can guess if any Punjabi teacher was killed before Saradr Nowruz incident!

The official casualty figures are bogus. We have been witnessing similar press releases for the last 25 years now in KP claiming hundreds of militants eliminated monthly.

Thanks to idiot foreign policy all of Afghanistan is now a haven for militants so even if Pakistan starts a serious operation, these guys simply go on R&R to Afghan cities and then come back a few months later. They don't even have to survive in discomfort in the border regions anymore.

Was there another ambush today on a convoy with busses? How are we getting ambushed so frequently? Even when we have ops going on in the province supposedly?

I didn't add it before here.
But whatever (low quality) it is, it is gruesome and extrajudicial.
Yes, it may be gruesome but the reality is different.

After 'their fathers' backs bend under the strain of earning their livelihood', if the dude ends up on a mountain in the ranks of terrorists, only that terrorist is to be blamed for that waste. Every father raises his children with dreams of success and prosperity for them in life. But if some of those children (after becoming grown-ups) intentionally join hands with terrorists and start killing the sons of the soil, yes then such a terrorist deserves a bullet in his assh.

Have some shame and stop spreading lies. The overwhelming majority of youth (hailing from Baloch, Pashtun, or other families) are living a peaceful life in Balochistan. Only a minority of them has become a victim of enemy traps and propaganda and have turned into terrorists. These terrorists are mostly active in far flung areas and mountains. The state has given them ample opportunities to give up on terrorism and become law abiding peaceful citizens. Many have returned but many are still unwilling or unable to part ways with the terrorist groups.

There is certainly a foreign dimension to the terrorism in Balochistan but the support to terrorists by internal elements cannot be undermined either. Baloch sardars have traditionally controlled the reins of their respective tribes and areas. It has now become a matter of survival for these sardars because people of most of the tribal sub branches are unwilling to offer the same levels of loyalty and allegiance to their tribal sardar as done by their previous generations.

These sardars see the education and economic growth in their areas as a threat to their rein and control. Can Akhtar Mengal claim any credit for establishing a college or university, hospital, sports complex, and any other project of public welfare? Not at all. He has never did any thing like that. The interests of these sardars and Pakistan's foreign enemies are indeed overlapping.

Before crying of a father with broken dreams, think of what, if anything, of public benefit was done by their sardars who have been getting thousands of billions rupees from the federal government. Only fools keep blaming the state for every single issue.

Yes there was, lots of casualties which are as usual not being reported.

What one can talk about Islamic Republic of Pakistan?
Terrorism in Balochistan
Terrorism in KPK
Terrorism by defunct JAAC
Anyone missing?
So, should the state give up and surrender? Every challenge brings an opportunity too.

Until there is a fair and open trial, I am serious, she is not a terrorist. By a mere standard definition, anyone who violates constitutional rights and international laws/norms can be classified as a terrorist, and anyone who supports such things is an abettor.
These protesters are a cover for the Baloch sardars. They want some areas be declared as 'B areas' again that were declared 'A areas' by the government of Balochistan just recently.

In 'B areas', sardars are responsible for the security and, for that, they claim to have raised levies consisting of tens of thousands men, most of them reportedly being ghost employees. Government pays money to sardars for these levies without having any control on them. There is no accountability and so these levies are loyal only to their respective sardar. It will not be surprising if these levies are found providing active support to terrorist groups such as BLA and even TTP and also involved in smuggling.

By declaring these areas as A areas, government took control of these levies. Members of these levies would have to show up for their attendance, take responsibilities, and be accountable. Obviously it's a big loss for these tribal sardars.

We are all inhabitants of the land, making excuses for their savagery doesn't help anyone, especially them

Because at the end of the day, others will continue with their lives

And these people will live in chaos and constant conflict

Multiple attempts have been made to try and civilise them, the country even took on tens of billions in debt to try and bring development to their areas

It's become a resource hole, most police, FC and even army units their are made up of relatively local forces, so in any incident the same people are dying

You cannot make deals with these types of people, and upping the ante is now vital and if anything inevitably

Narco terrorists with their whores from Oman, Afghanistan Iran, Iraq and who knows where else deserve no rights and no mercy.

Move 20 million Sindhi and Punjabi and displace these cockroaches to helmand and then bomb them relentlessly.
