Three people were killed and seven others were injured as a passenger bus was fired upon in Balochistan’s Kalat, according to the provincial government spokesperson.

A statement from Shahid Rind said: “Three passengers were martyred and seven were injured in the tragic incident” when a shooting occurred on a passenger coach coming from Karachi to Quetta in Kalat’s Nemargh area.

He said the injured were being moved to the District Headquarters Hospital Kalat for treatment, adding that an emergency had been imposed at the facility.

“Security agencies, district administration and rescue teams have immediately reached the scene. Security forces have surrounded the area and a search operation is underway. Security forces are pursuing the attackers,” Rind said.

Speaking to Geo News, he said Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti had taken notice of the incident and sought a report from police and law enforcement agencies.

“Based on initial info, terrorists were sitting in ambush, they stopped the bus and then attacked. We cannot confirm the number of terrorists, but it was carried out from both sides of the road,” Rind said.

One Balochistan Constabulary officer was martyred and three others suffered injuries on Friday when unidentified people opened fire on their vehicle on National Highway in the Mastung district, provincial government spokesperson Shahid Rind said.

In April, three policemen were martyred and at least 16 others were injured in a blast that targeted a vehicle of the Balochistan Constabulary on Mastung’s Dasht Road. There has been an increase in the frequency of attacks against security forces in Balochistan in recent times.

“According to initial reports, the acting deputy superintendent of police’s (DSP) vehicle was targeted,” the spokesperson Rind said in a statement.

The assailants opened fire on the vehicle near the Choto area of Mastung on the National Highway, the statement elaborated.

Rind stated that “a search operation is underway to apprehend the assailants, and security forces have been dispatched to the site of the attack”.

The injured officers were immediately rushed to Shaheed Nawab Ghaus Bakhsh Hospital in Quetta, he added.

On July 16, three people were killed and seven others were injured as a passenger bus was fired upon in Balochistan’s Kalat. Earlier this month, three cops were injured in an attack on a highway police vehicle in Balochistan’s Nasirabad District.

In a separate incident on July 9, unknown attackers hurled a grenade at a police checkpoint at the Sibi-Harnai railway crossing gate.

The grenade exploded at the post, but no injuries were reported.

On June 21, two personnel of the Frontier Corps were martyred and four were injured in a bomb attack in Kalat’s Mongochar area.

4 terrorists killed in Balochistan’s Kalat operation: ISPR

Dawn.com
July 20, 2025

Security forces killed four terrorists during an operation in Balochistan’s Kalat district, the military’s media wing said in a statement on Sunday.

There has been an increase in the frequency of attacks against security forces in Balochistan in recent times. Earlier this week, three people were killed and seven others were injured as a passenger bus was fired upon in Kalat.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement that the intelligence-based operation took place on the night of July 19-20, upon the “reported presence of terrorists belonging to Indian proxy, Fitna al Hindustan”.

In May this year, the government designated all terrorist organisations in Balochistan as Fitna-Al-Hindustan.

“During the conduct of [the] operation, [our] own forces effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, and after an intense fire exchange, four Indian sponsored terrorists were sent to hell,” the statement read.

According to the ISPR, weapons, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the dead terrorists, who were actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.

“During the conduct of [the] operation, [our] own forces effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, and after an intense fire exchange, four Indian sponsored terrorists were sent to hell,” the statement read.
This thread is now 29 pages long. What is the point of sending Indian sponsored terrorists to hell if their sponsors continue to sponsor more terrorists with impunity. Shouldn't the Pakistani army be destroying the sponsorship network at its source instead of fighting its citizens inside the country ?

This is beyond terrorism. The video is going viral in Pakistan. It shows communal killing of a man and woman by a firing squad. Their alleged crime was to marry by will.

3 terrorists killed in Mastung shootout, says Balochistan CTD

July 21, 2025

Three terrorists belonging to a proscribed militant outfit were killed during an operation in Mastung district, Balochistan’s Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) said on Monday.

Pakistan has witnessed an uptick in terror activities over the past year, especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, after the proscribed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) ended its ceasefire with the government in November 2022.

According to a statement by the CTD spokesperson, “All three suspects, who were killed, were linked to Daesh and were planning future acts of terror.”

Daesh refers to the banned militant Islamic State (IS) group, a globally proscribed terrorist organisation.

The CTD conducted an operation during which a “high-value Daesh suspect”, who was involved in the abduction and murder of a minor, was being taken to identify a suspected hideout in the outskirts of Mastung’s Dasht area, the statement said.

“The suspect had been under CTD custody and was involved in a brutal case of kidnapping for ransom, where the abducted minor was killed in captivity after the ransom was not paid,” it added.

“He was also linked with an operational cell of Daesh, involved in fundraising and terror facilitation across the province.”

The statement further said that armed accomplices present inside the hideout opened fire on the CTD team “in an attempt to secure the release of their associate”.

“CTD officials returned fire in self-defence, resulting in a fierce exchange. A shootout ensued [which] resulted in the killing of held suspect by his group’s fire during the chaos,” it added.

“Two armed terrorists were also neutralised on the spot.”

The statement also read that the group was also involved in “targeted killings and extortion networks, using child abductions to fund militant operations”.

The CTD recovered “a cache of weapons, explosive materials, communication devices, and extremist literature from the site”, according to the statement.

A first information report was being registered at the CTD Quetta police station, while more raids were also planned for other areas of Dasht and Spilinji “to nab the remaining members of the group”, it concluded.

Pakistan ranked second in the Global Terrorism Index 2025, with the number of deaths in terrorist attacks rising by 45 per cent over the past year to 1,081.

Area‼️‼️

🔺Security forces received confirmed information that a secret hideout of fifteen to twenty terrorists from Fitna-ul-Hindustan was located in the hills of Parhod.

🔺They were using this location as a base of operations to attack innocent civilians on N25/N40.

🔺On July 21, the forces advanced toward the hideout and launched a precise attack, resulting in twelve terrorists being eliminated and five injured.

🔺Heavy weaponry was recovered from the terrorists' possession.
The operation has now been successfully completed.

One thing we have to admit is that India has consistently managed to carry out acts of terrorism in Pakistan, whether it was in the past during the Bangladesh conflict or more recently in Balochistan. They seem to do it with ease and on their terms.

I often wonder if we lack the ability or resources to stop them. Why can't we dismantle their networks or respond in the same way? What holds us back from doing what they seem to do so easily?

If someone can explain this, I’d like to understand the real reasons behind it.

Because their job is a simple as piss, because of the harami populations to our west

What magic action do you think the useless Indians are doing????

The afghans and Baloch are on their own barbarous, violent, backwards and jahil

The Afghans already betrayed Iran after they hosted them for decades, it in their nature

Just keep hitting them, just hunt the Afghans and Baloch and make their lives painful and unbearable

Create more division inside India, utilise hindutva to create communalism and enmity

We are in a war and it is us or them, Pakistan will survive, India won't

This is exactly what I’m talking about—why are we always on the receiving end?

I get that we have some weak points, like our borders with Afghanistan and, to some extent, Iran. But India has even more fault lines than we do. They have a huge population, and in some areas, people are even less educated than ours. There are troubled regions we could use to our advantage.

We could put pressure on India from different sides, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nepal, etc.

So the real question is: what’s stopping us from doing that?

We could and we should, but their is a lower level of jahilat amongst the Afghans and Baloch that is stunning

It's one thing to disagree with the state or want a different political system but these guys are animals, killing teachers and labourers or school kids

Their are over 200 million Indian Muslims and multiple other minorities and we have tapped into multiple fault lines within India and have utilised hindutva to spread fear and division, but you will be pushed to find people willing to do what Baloch or Afghans do

Maybe it's historical, being mountain folk or something but their is a level of barbarity that is shocking
