Bangladesh - India News / Discussions

The only thing that explains the India hatred is the servitude of Pakistan.

Mostly it seems propagated by Bangladeshi diaspora living in America, UK and Canada. Lots of it can be explained by understanding the circumstances that led to migration to these countries from Bengaldesh.

Hopefully newer wave of Bengaldeshis post 2001 can make their voices louder on forums like these which would be true representation of Bangaldeshi voices.

Seems most of them have had bad personal experiences with Indians in U.K./USA/Canada.

Or worse online spats where they call each other vile names.

None of them have been to India to meet and spend quality time with actual Indians.

You have a deep hatred for India, which is understandable given that Jamaatis were defeated in 1971 when we fought for our independence.

Obviously if you see someone trying to go against the attempt to challenge India-hatred on this forum you will try to stop it and continue promoting India-hatred.
I could get images and pictures of what Pakistani soldiers did in 1971 and try to promote hatred of Pakistan, you don't see me promoting hatred of Pakistan on this forum. In fact you have even banned us discussing the 1971 war on this sub-forum, though Pakistanis can talk about it on other sub-forums. I could get videos of gulf Arabs abusing Bangladeshi workers and try to promote hatred of Arabs. At the end of day hating Pakistanis or hating Arabs achieve nothing.

I am critical of India when required but am not consumed with an obsessive hatred of India.

1. If you wish to go to war with India then please join the Pakistan army and serve on the front line, we Bangladeshis do not want a war with India.

However if India were to ever make the mistake of starting a war with Bangladesh it would be the end of the Indian union.

2. India-hatred achieves nothing because the problems of Bangladesh are not entirely due to India. How do India-haters explain the fact that even Bangladeshi people complain about corruption from Bangladeshi policemen, Bangladeshi government civil servants and Bangladeshi politicians?

Is RAW or India behind it when your local police officer in Sylhet or Dhaka demands bribery? Are you going to blame this on India due to your hatred of India?

3. India, India, India...Jamaat campaigns on a program of India-hatred. I and most Bangladeshis (nationalists now have 70% of seats in party, the same nationalist party that Jamaatis here have called the B-team of BAL) are not interested in hatred against India.

The USA was involved in the mass slaughter of Gazans from 2023-2025, why do you not cross over from Canada next door and challenge the USA then?

If we follow the logic of India-haters then Bangladesh should start a war with the USA or not even trade with "evil Muslim killer" USA. However India-haters only apply this 'logic' and reserve their hatred for India.

A piece of advice buddy, just remove the hatred of India from your heart. Hatred is not a positive emotion and does not achieve anything.

P.S.

Enjoy these pics and If you want to fight India, please leave Canada and go to the India-Bangladesh border where you will be arrested by the BGB as a troublemaker even if you scream "Bharati-dalal".

Lol, typical deflection. Not unexpected from someone who is an active Hindutva agent. Since you find it okay to label people, I think I can return the favor.

As for hating India - no, I only hate the Hindutva lovers like yourself who masquerade themselves as practicing Muslims. Just like those Arab Muslim IDF soldiers who release videos of them praying in Jamaat.

I always make an extra effort to add Hindutva, because I want to bring that distinction to light. Not all Indians are Hindutva.

Where have I blamed India for corruption of BAL leaders or civil servants? Never. Even in the Adani thread I blamed Hasina for the rotten corrupt deal for which we are now going to court. Show me a post where I blamed India for a corrupt Bangladeshi policeman's corruption.

I blame India for facilitating the BAL regime consolidate its power through active interference. India actively infiltrated our intelligence and security apparatus to make this happen. And through that they murdered Bangladeshi officers and citizens. Detained and interrogated Bangladeshi citizens in Bangladeshi soil, just because they were practicing Muslims and a threat to Hindutva.

There is a big distinction.

The rest of your post is not worth responding to because you clearly are who you are and no point of debating and wasting each other's time.

Dude - I can guarantee you that I have been to and lived in India longer than you have been to India. I went to boarding school in Darjeeling back in the 90s. And I have very fond memories of my school days and still connected to friends from India socially.

That 90s India and the current Hindutva infested India has nothing in common.

Don't confuse my criticism of Indian Hindutva regime as hatred for Indians.

It's Bangladesh, not Bengaldesh not Bangaldesh. A subtle disrespect you regularly show towards Bangladesh.

The UK Sylheti brigade may not understand your subtle trolling, hatred for Bangladesh and insults, but it isn't past me.

Perhaps you ought to analyze your own migration from Pakistan to a foreign western country.

Aniruddha Das, India’s senior consular official in Sylhet, has said steps are under way to fully restore all visa services.

On Thursday, the Indian assistant high commissioner in Sylhet also assured maximum cooperation to strengthen bilateral ties through visa facilitation.

“Medical and double-entry visas are being issued now, and steps are under way to resume other categories, including travel visas,” he said at the Sylhet District Press Club.

Relations between the neighbouring countries have been strained since the political upheaval of 2024, with India limiting visa issuance to Bangladesh during that spell.

Aniruddha said, “India-Bangladesh relations stand on the foundation of mutual respect and honour. The people of both countries will be the principal stakeholders of a stable, positive, constructive, long-term and mutually beneficial relationship.

“Bangladesh and India share the same outlook. Both nations have carried their cultures from the past. We want to work together.”

He added, “We should transform our geographical and cultural proximity, growing economic capacity, and future aspirations into new opportunities through cooperation.

“Through objective reporting and constructive criticism, journalists can further reinforce and strengthen this relationship.”

Journalists present at the exchange highlighted prospects and challenges in expanding trade, education, cultural exchanges and connectivity between Sylhet and India’s northeastern region.

They also called on the Indian government to undertake projects supporting Sylhet’s socio-economic development under its “Aid to Bangladesh” and Line of Credit initiatives.

Paying tribute to the martyrs of Bangladesh’s Liberation War, speakers underscored the historic bonds between the two countries and stressed the need to make bilateral relations more fruitful and enduring.

I think the Bangladeshi and Indian militaries generally have a good relationship with each other. Bangladesh's real enemy is to the east and that is Mynamar. We need to establish a safe zone in the north of Rakhine. We will need US support and may need to keep New Delhi in the loop over this.

India needs to work with us to ensure that the trade balance between the two friendly neighbours is not so inequal, they need to help our companies export more products to India's massive market.

We are restoring our relations to a similar level how they were around approx 18 months albeit with a slightly more nationalistic, assertive stance with a focus on mutual respect.
