In case you haven't been keeping up, Turkey and Israel relationship is heading towards a conflict soon. It's a matter of when. They already have a nuke threat to their country. They have the NATO nuke umbrella. In case NATO dissolves or Turkey gets kicked out of NATO because of a Turkey Israeli war, they will continue to have a nuclear umbrella because of this defence pact. Alliance with Pakistan is to Turkey's benefit as well.

It makes no sense for the pact to include Bangladesh right now, it is a military basket case with no strategic or military value add. Why military capability does Bangladesh bring to the table ??

Yes, large country. But, their troops are not critical. BD brings no military deterrence value to the founding members of Pakistan, Saudi and Turkiye. Not even to Pakistan vs India. What is the BD military going to do against India? Line up and fire "spit balls" at them???

Turkey being a member of Nato, makes its ability to participate in Mecca defence pact all the more dubious.

You can not be a member of two competing defense pacts and then hold members of your first defense pact hostage to wars of allies of your new defense pact.

Btw Nato Article 5 comes into effect when a member nation is attacked.

If Turkey send its armed forces fight against India, to fight along Pakistan, then its Turkey which attacking India and no Nato member will intervene.
