Bangladesh Socio-Political Crisis 2024 and onwards

BNP leadership is seriously compromised and it is increasingly becoming evident. Their senior leaders have no coordination and unity and contradicts each other. I am anticipating there will be a split within BNP if the likes of Mirza Fakhrul continue with BNP. As many have been calling out for sometime now, BNP is going to become BAL 2.0 and become the new Indian puppet party, moving away from their original root of independent Bangladeshi Nationalist ideology.

I liked the comment of Jamaat amir on this issue where he joked and said - BAL committed injustice by preventing elections, now if we force BAL to participate in an election, it is also an injustice. Essentially indicating his position that his party doesn't want BAL in next election.

BNP is not exactly compromised, they are exactly like BAL. Only difference is BAL got the chance to do what they did in the last 15 years, but BNP did not. If BNP gets the chance, they will do exactly the same.

It will be a waste of all the lives and blood shed if BNP is allowed to come to power. They must not be allowed, I don't know how but somehow it needs to be done.

Who remember this shahbaghi Bharti dalal Harami Imran?

I remember i watched this happening live on TV.
100% Hindutva orchesterated event.
Leading to the consequent massacre of over thousand Bangladeshi religious students.

All those India lovers and their cheerleaders must be put on a one-way trip to that shining India. They are mass murderers pretending to be Bangladeshi well wishers.

That's not an accurate assessment. I believe some of you are overgeneralizing about the BNP and trying to discredit its contributions regarding democracy and preserving national interests. If the BNP were like the Awami League, India would have accepted the BNP over the Awami League, knowing that the BNP is much more popular than the Awami League.

The Awami League has always been a self motivated Bharti dalal. BNP has a small pro India element but they are not the backbone of the party. The BNP houses the largest Bangladeshi nationalist forces. Pro India element will phase out gradually. No pro indian political party will survive in Bd politics after the Aug 5th revlution. It has changed the equition forever.

I have no issue with any political parties in Bangladesh except for the Awami League and its collaborators.

Finally, we have to work with what we have. Farisha from the sky ain't going to come down and fix our issues overnight

You want the BAL banned, BNP banned. Who do you want not to be banned?

People are laying their hopes on a political party set up by the student movement lead by Dr. Yunus who had no interest in politics to begin with. This movement is completely filled with the young demographic who have the zeal, but zero experience. There doesn't appear to be any direction with regards as to what they want for the country or themselves. This absence of any real experience and lack of any real direction together are a serious Achilles heel for the movement. This puts the revolution at risk of being hijacked.

The BNP on the other hand has experience but lacks any real connection to the young demographics of the country.

If not already done so, I would suggest that the BNP undertake young apprentices who are suitable, fit and show potential. Teach them about politics, good governance and the party's values. This way, it will enhance the party's chances of dominance in the future which is now very unpredictable. The goal here would be to create future leaders.

Concurrently, the student leaders need to go on with their development as any normal citizen and grow. Grow, gather experience and understand thyself. And this way, forming a party won't seem so puzzling. You will know what you want and how you want it.

It should be noted that the Awami Leaguers along with their allies in New Delhi are still plotting against us as we speak. As of now, India is public enemy number one.

I don't want BNP banned. I just want people not to elect them. Our people should know better, that's what I am hoping for.

Anti-India sentiment was already huge last time i visited BD, way before the fall of BAL.

People who are otherwise calm and collected was openly frustrated with the despotic rule. The loss of freedom of speech and political choice.
