BREAKING : Cargo plane overshoots runway at Miami International Airport

let's all see if we learn anything...

NTSB Media Briefing - Miami, FL Runway excursion accident involving a B-767-300 cargo airplane

Seems it hit a Ford Econoline van on a perimeter road inside the airport fence and a Toyota Corolla Cross SUV on the road outside the fence...both had victims

Any info of gender of pilot?

He could have always go around, if it don't look right coming down This pilot seriously wanted to land …. 🥺

NTSB confirms the 2-person crew survived.

Usual social media sites asking the same question; what was the gender of the crew?

It doesn't effing matter.

'Excessive Speed': Amazon 767 Pilots Got 7 Cockpit Warnings In 25 Seconds Before Miami Crash

The NTSBhas released a summary of cockpit voice recorder data from the Amazon Prime Air Boeing 767 crash at Miami International Airport (MIA) on Sunday. It reveals that the crew received seven cockpit warnings in the final moments of the approach, consisting of two "sink rate" and five "too low terrain" alerts.

It has also emerged that one pilot repeatedly warned the other about the 767's excessive speed more than a minute before touchdown. The NTSB says there was not a "consistent verbal response" to the warnings, raising questions about how the crew managed the approach in the moments before the crash.

The NTSB's latest update offers a more detailed sequence of events on Sunday, when five people died after the Amazon Prime Air-branded Boeing 767-300F overran MIA's Runway 30 and collided with two vehicles. Cockpit recordings show that multiple automated alerts sounded on final approach, indicating the jet was descending too quickly or getting too close to the ground, while also revealing an apparent breakdown in communication between the two pilots.

Truly shocking once you see this breakdown, the arrogance and disregard the captain showed was unbelievable.

His flying career is over now and he should go to jail imho..

The co-pilot isn't wrong. Especially when the cargo he's carrying breathes.

What hasn't been disclosed yet is who was actually in control of the flight controls and who was speaking during the approach and landing.

Saw a 2 video's yesterday, both suggested it was the Captain who was in control of the plane, ie "pilot flying" and first officer talking.

Trump and MAGA were still disappointed because none of the pilots was a woman.
