Turkish pilots also crashed into the sea. Turkish pilots also crashed on land.Greek Pilots didn't just crash into the sea once, they crashed many times and died
Turkish F-16 Pilots did not crash into the Sea
We only lost one F-16 Pilot, and that was a cowardly Greek pilot who opened fire on an unarmed Turkish F-16D during trainig flight ; one of our pilots died, the other survived
TURAF using F-16D for training ( two-seat training version )
and F-16C for interception mission
I saw you incidents above. There's also another incident that Turkey denies and Greece doesn't go around advertising, but I remember you rushed to discard it as fairy tales.
But if that's not enough, you should think about the Turkish jets that were shot down by Greek Cypiot AAA in the 60s.
The reality is that both countries lose people or aircraft in training flights, but it's the Turkish pilots that have a history of unprofessional conduct and reckless maneuvering. Either out of lack of skill or out of a stupid tradition of trying to be the best by doing dangerous maneuvers. Maybe they watched Top Gun too many times and think it's true.
The bottom line is what @Ali_Baba said: It's a waste of human lives and/or materials. There's no point to it. It's utterly unprofessional.
Like always, you have several people telling you that you're wrong or going too far and you continue about Turkish superiority, the "truth",Turkish pilots best in the world etc.
I see the forum still hasn't changed and has extreme tolerance for a man with no tolerance at all.
