Saudi Defence Minister, His Excellency Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud participated in Pakistan Day celebrations and met General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff .

The Saudi Defense Minister was warmly welcomed upon arrival at Nur Khan Air Base.

Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud attended the Joint Services Parade of the Armed Forces of Pakistan as a special guest of honor. He was welcomed by Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif and Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir upon arrival at the ceremony, where he witnessed the splendid Joint Services Parade.

Following the ceremony, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud held a meeting with Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir to discuss mutual interests, enhancing bilateral relations, and particularly cooperation in defense matters.

General Syed Asim Munir NI (M), Chief of Army Staff (COAS) met His Excellency Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The discussion primarily focused on matters of mutual interest, notably regional peace, stability, and border security.Both sides concurred on the necessity to bolster bilateral cooperation while jointly striving for regional stability and economic prosperity.

COAS described the Pak-Iran border as "the border of peace and friendship," emphasizing the need for improved coordination along the border to prevent terrorists from jeopardizing the longstanding brotherly relations between the two neighboring countries.

President Ebrahim Raisi emphasized that by fostering cooperation between the two Armed Forces, Pakistan and Iran can attain peace and stability for both nations and the region.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir attends Pakistan Air Force’s (PAF) graduate passing out parade ceremony.

ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir said on Thursday the army was well aware of its constitutional limits and expected others to abide by them too.

The army chief, speaking at the passing out parade of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) in Risalpur, observed that Article 19 of the Constitution defines the boundaries within which freedom of speech and opinions exist.

"Those who disregard the explicit constraints outlined in the Constitution have no grounds to criticize others," said the COAS.

He told the cadets they were central to the country's hopes and aspirations, tasked with safeguarding the aerial frontiers and regional solidarity.

"It is expected that you will live your lives with courage, character, and competence," he added.

Gen Munir further said, "You will always uphold the nation's tradition of excellence, professionalism, and bravery," said the COAS.
