From the point of view of traditions, nostalgia and pomp yes our army retain them all....in come cases even more so then the british them selves.
All the rest, things that really matter we fallow the Americans as we were trained by them since the 50s .

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir paid rich tribute to the Chief of the Air Staff and the gallant airmen of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for their swift and effective response in thwarting the Indian Air Force’s nefarious act of aggression.

During his visit to the Air Headquarters on Wednesday, he was warmly received by Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu.

The COAS highly appreciated the PAF for once again proving its mettle by shooting down multiple enemy aircraft and displaying exceptional professionalism.

General Munir also praised the exemplary coordination and cooperation among the three armed services of Pakistan.

During the meeting, both sides reiterated their firm resolve that no one would be allowed to violate Pakistan’s territorial integrity, and any such attempt would be met with a resolute and costly response.
 
what purpose does this 700k bloated force serve when PAF has to do all the heavy lifting? is PA sole purpose is to operess civilians and perform economic activities? serious question no trolling!

in this day and age of modern drone warefare why waste resources on such big land force...why not divert resources and invest in navy (our navy is not up to modern standards) future wars will be fought on seas and air.organized land army are only used to cement position on ground after air supremacy has been achieved and even there land forces fail because they are not flexible enough to fight urban warfare!

i understand we worship our kand forces because if fake stories of oast but its new age we know the reality why not use resources smartly we are a poor country

CAS Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu career is coming to an end next year, and he sure will be finishing his career on a high, one for the history books. Very few experience actual combat for their country, and even fewer come out victorious. He got the job done when it was required of him and delivered on alll the hard work done by his many predeccessors in the PAF and hopefully he will leave his own legacy of innovation for the future.

COAS reaches Rawalpindi Stadium to watch HBL PSL X match​

Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir reached the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium to watch the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) X match on Saturday, as the tournament resumed following a brief pause due to the confrontation with India.

Players and officials paid strong tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces before the match began between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi. A moment of silence was also observed to honour the martyrs of the nation, followed by the national anthem.

The stadium echoed with chants of "Pakistan Zindabad" and was adorned with national flags. Fireworks lit up the sky in a celebratory atmosphere, with spectators expressing solidarity with the armed forces.

After the first innings concluded, a second round of commemorative events began, with COAS General Asim Munir present in the stadium. He was accompanied by Director General ISPR Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry and Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi.

Actor and host Hamza Ali Abbasi announced that three days of PSL 10 in Rawalpindi have been dedicated to Pakistan’s military forces. “The first day is dedicated to the Pakistan Army, the second to the Navy, and the third to the Air Force,” he declared.
