This is all signaling. Antics of a jilted lover who runs into the arms of the "raqeeb" to make the desired one jealous.
However, in this case, the raqeeb is also not up for being taken advantage of.

4. Actual Investment in Oil & Gas and mineral sectors and not just talk.

Till now everything is speculation or our view that India is being punished because of love of US with us. The fact of the matter is that crushing pressure is being brought upon Modi to accept the dictates of US. Pakistan unfortunately is just a ploy.

Until some of the above things materialize, I for one will remain skeptical of the new found love of US.
