I just analyzed the possibility of exporting this production line based on the J-10C production line situation. It is not limited to Pakistan, but also includes other possible prospects.

I do not see better prospect from Pakistan for at least couple reasons marketing, close relations with muslim world and most important one, training and setup of human infrastructure for potential customers.

I will not make a judgment on whether Pakistan will introduce the J-10CE production line. This is a question that needs to be considered for PAF and PAC.

It is technical issue easy to solve if correct signal comes from political leaderships particular chinese one.

Objectively speaking, my personal suggestion is that PAC abandons JF-17 and introduces J-10CE production line, which is a good plan. If JF-17 and J-10CE are produced at the same time, the PAC may be difficult to support.

Agree, eventual pride from pakistani side should be put aside in favor of practicality and overall perspective and possibility for gaining new knowledge and skills.

Its suitable for Pakistan as well, to stop Jf17 block 3 production and start J10CEs, we already have 150 Jf17s, if we can produce 80 J10CEs, with 75 F16s. The total fighter will be 325 4th 4.5++ fighter jets. Paf will then be ready for 5th generation J35s. Not sure why Pakistan is trying to make PFX fighter jet which is 4.5+++++ jet, it better to stay with J10CE and J35.

Its meaning is very clear. In the official and rigorous title, it is not what we think of as a 4.5th-Gen fighter. Chinese people generally believe that the J-10C is a 4.5th-Gen fighter, but it is the worst fighter of all our 4.5th-Gen fighters.
As for the JF-17B3, we were "polite" to think it was a 4.5th-Gen fighter.

As for how Pakistan chooses, this requires internal decisions from Pakistan.

Continuing JF-17 Block 3 production for export will generate valuable revenue. There’s a strong market among smaller nations in Central Asia, Africa, and South America. At the same time, we can’t shut down the production line entirely as our own Air Force fields around 30-50 of these jets and will need spare parts and ongoing maintenance. In short, we should push the program forward to meet both export demand and our own needs until there is a replacement. PAF should transition to newer, stealthier platforms like the J-35 and PFX/Kaan to replace older JF-17 and F-16 blocks within the next few years. The J-10 was originally a stopgap response to India’s Rafale purchase, but its success now supports expanding procurement to phase out the remaining Mirages.

The J-10A is already in the queue for gradual decommissioning. Very little exposure in recent years.
