Kids, thats why you do not do drugs.... 🤭

Back then US was the world biggest industrial and manufacturing power by a huge margin, Japan was not even close in this regard, US easily outproduced Japan in everything, but now the shoe is on the other foot.

During world war 2, America almost doubled its GDP from 800 to 1500 in less than 5 years.

It can do that again if it is pushed.

How, a vast supply chain network and skilled manufacturing workforce once lost, almost impossible to get them back unlike you become a developing country again. It had long passed that point of no return.

5 years? what are you talking about? how stopped you from becoming one from day one ?
India liberalised it's economy in 1991. China has a major headstart over us. Plus we don't follow China's communistic policies which lead to the spurt of growth. India is a more of a quasi federal, socialist-capitalist (I know how weird the combo sounds) nation.

Do you think US had a vast supply chain network and skilled manufacturing workforce in 40s? When most men were gone fighting and women replaced them in factories?

US prodution of airplanes for instances exploded during this period. And yeah, they are very much capable of doing it.

All this supply chain bullshit you believe will go out of window the moment they decide to invoke Defense Production Act. That removes profit motive and lets US to produce things at a warfooting.

Remember, US was able to mass produce mRNA vaccines during 2020 pandemic? There was NO supply chain for mRNA vaccines anywhere because it was never mass produced before.

That vaccine was used to vaccinate entire western europe and americas.

How do you think that happened? DPA.

I am talking about it now, back then US didn't have such an industrial powerhouse rival accountinf for over half of the world steel production and a third of world total manufacturing output, I have no doubt you can still outproduce and beat Japan today.

But why US could not make enough masks, ventilaters and hazma suits and US medical workers had to don in garbage bags? US was even running out of toilet paper during the pandemic.

US was just running out of everything, masks, ventilators, hazmat suits , event toilet paper.

March 2020. Later USA fixed all of it. It was initial months of pandemic.

Anyhow, the bigger point was "Supply chain" bullshit that Chinese often quote. US can bootstrap supply chains like no one else business. There are very few countries that can do it.

In 1940s, US created entire supply chain for nuclear bomb, a totally unknown technology and science back then.

Even now. Once USA does things on warfooting, nothing can compare. And espcially China. US is the king of innovation and risk taking. Something china can never dare to do. China and Chinese are very risk averse by nature.

1940 was almost a century ago and today it is a whole different world, US over all industrial and manufacturing strength is still fast declining, not recovering, tell me one industrial and manufacturing sector that US lost and then recovered?

No, US didn't fix It. US imported record amount of them from China and Chin workers worked 3 shifts non stop to meet the demand and they finally made it. Check the trade statistics from that year and the yesr after.
