Solar panel prices drop to record lows in Pakistan

Maybe before but now because 5KW solar panels cost $500 in Pakistan. Must people need 2-3KW as majority will not have ACs. In Pakistan one can recover solar investment in 2 years max.

Good for you. In India it's expected to be around 5 years

Installation includes wiring and solar sheet supporting system which cost mainly due to high metal cost (Copper wire and Angle Iron for Solar Sheets).

Dear which inverter is that? please share info. My relative got one in this price for 2 KW system last month. Please share link of 5KW solar inverter which cost around 80-85 thousand rupees in Pakistan.

He brought 4.2KW inverter which is enough for 5KW panels. Panels will generate max of 3700W in peak hours.

This is the model, he brought from France through Aliexpress. Using some discount code same inverter cost like 270€.



But after googling it looks like same type of inverter in Pakistan cost like $450-500.

Still its well under $1300 for 5KW solar system without batteries. Thats why everyone is trying to go solar. Majority of people need 2KW systems. Only those with AC will need 5KW or above.
