I don't know which bridge is longer, the one linking HK to the mainland or this one just opened to the public this Summer 2024.
Anyways, it seems whever I visit China, I'm always the first few customers of some newly opened and famous/extravagant bridge. The last time was in 2016 when the glass bridge in Zhangjiajie just opened. The coolest part of the 50km-long Shenzhen-Zhongshan is the underwater tunnel section. You never knew they could build such a wide waterproof tunnel for fast travelling under the sea!
It helped that I was on a tour bus transiting the bridge. If you've ever driven a SUV, you know the raised/higher seat gives you a wider field of view than a sedan with much lower seat height.
