China didn't take over Hong kong untill the lease was over in 1997, Macau in 1999, cause China doesn't want a ruinned Hong kong or Macau. Taiwan is still republic of China, China repeatedly says Chinese don't fight Chinese, as long as Taiwan doesn't declare independence, the reunificaiton can happen naturally without force, it can be handled by future generations. No one likes to fight civil wars.

Anyways my argument was a reply to your post on how Taiwan being an island is blocked prone..... I wanted to show you that China is even more blocked prone with whatever factors I mentioned in my first post on this thread..... technically China is a landlocked country and can be chocked easily by powerful navies......

How China can be blocked while China has the world biggest navy and the silk roads roads connect China with central Asia, middle east and Europe. China has many options for connectivity, are you confused China with India?

China though biggest navy is nowhere as lethal and sophisticated in technology compared to USA..... 1 carrier battle group of USN can decimate most of the PLAN..... heck even Japanese navy is capable of giving PLAN a run for its money......

silk roads are being built and even if they are complete even then you will be able to keep your supply lines running at the capacity that is just a fraction of what maritime route delivers you..... and still this is not a reliable supply route...... we have seen how middle east countries can be squeezed by USA and Israel...... USA will surely take care of your supplies from these countries if there's full scale war.....
