China stopped Indian troops from patrolling in certain border areas in Arunachal: Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday alleged that China has stopped Indian troops from patrolling in certain areas along the Line of Actual Control in Arunachal Pradesh and that the government was making efforts to "hide it".
Already debunked:

Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju rejected reports of any new Chinese infiltration or land occupation in the state. Rijiju said there has been no new Chinese occupation of Indian territory in Arunachal Pradesh, while acknowledging that concerns raised by local residents over traditional grazing areas are genuine and deserve attention.

This is inevitable. China will never back down and will reclaim Zangnan soon. The power difference is too big and Zangnan isn't even proper India. So must Indians will just say not a big deal, they can have it if China really want it.

PM Modi must come clean on Chinese incursions: Congress

New Delhi, Updated At : 06:52 AM Oct 24, 2026 IST

The Congress on Friday accused PM Narendra Modi of giving repeated “clean chits” to China while keeping the country in the dark over continuing border tensions, alleged loss of patrolling access in Arunachal Pradesh and growing economic dependence on Beijing.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge raised questions on national security, economic security and diplomatic accountability, citing the ITBP Director General’s remarks on recent face-offs between Indian forces and the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) in Arunachal Pradesh.

“Enough clean chits to China. PM Modi must come clean before India,” Kharge said, asking whether another serious confrontation was unfolding after Doklam and Galwan. Reports of Chinese incursions near Taksing had emerged in August, while confrontations reportedly continued even 47 days after Corps Commander-level talks at Wacha-Damai, around 180 km away, he said.

He questioned whether India’s patrolling access had been compromised. He further questioned the widening trade deficit with China and the rationale behind easing restrictions on Chinese investments.

We should use Tribal headhunters instead of involving border police. They could kill without raising threshold. It's always better to use "nonstate" actors in these situations.
