They are not comparable. J-36 is not the strategic bomber H-20.

J-36 is still a fighter in that it is air to air focused. H-20 will have much longer range and payload capacity compared to J-36 and more focused on air to ground/ship. If H-20 can perform any air to air role, it will not be comparable to what J-36 can do and it would only be to make use of its longer range.

If J-36 is used to perform any air to ground role, it will not be as long ranged as H-20 or have the same volume capacity.

There is also a, shall we just say very fast aircraft that is not the Tengyun space vehicle delivery single stage to orbit platform.

This fast (and large) aircraft is not the H-20 keep in mind.

No that fictional plane was just a display for kids and adult kids lol. Nothing to do with actual military discussions.

I was talking about actual target drones. Some of the target drones do resemble real aircraft and my post was in reply to another discussing how one of these target drones even applied some shaping from one of China's UADFs.

J-36 makes H-20 irrelevant. It has better stealth, same range with aerial refueling, strong air to air capability. Even the US downsized from B-2 which has 4 engines to B-21 which has 2 engines. J-36 has 3 engines and has a lot of range.

H-20 is our strategic strike capability, and J-36 is tactical strike capability. J-36 cannot replace H-20.

What should discuss is whether H-20 is a manned bomber, because we already have drones with a range of over 20,000km

So the J-36 V1 got the WS-10C, and the V2 got the WS-15.

Maybe the incoming V3 will have the VCE.

And the RDE for the 7th gen aircraft in 2035.
