J-20 had 8 prototypes for its development and J-36 has only 2 protypes so far and will have totally different aerodynamics/ avionics/radars from J-20, Its take time at least 5-9 years for maturing its aerodynamics/avionics/radars

The 6G fighters are highly likely to participate in the 2029 military parade. If not both the SAC and the CAC models participate simultaneously, at least one of them will take part. Meanwhile, starting from 2030, the focus of the PLAAF and AVIC will shift to the development of seventh-generation fighters—transitioning from the ongoing pre-research phase to detailed design, engineering development, and prototype development. In fact, several 7G fighter development teams have already been assembled/established, as is clearly evident from the recruitment notices issued earlier this year by the SAC.

No. China's National Day parade has never allowed weapons that are not officially serving to participate, so the J-36 will not appear in the 2029 National Day parade marking the 80th anniversary of the founding of the country.

However, 2027 is the 100th anniversary of founding of the PLA, and the J-36 may be officially announced.

Based on past experience, under normal circumstances, the time for small-scale production of the J-36 should be 2032.

The official announcement of the J-36 entering service should be during the parade in September 2035.

China developed the J20 and all concentration were on that plane, now China is building aircraft carriers and 2 versions of J35 is in production, one for airforce which will be exported aswell and another one for navy which will be used on the aircraft carriers. I wouldn't be ‌the slightest bit surprised‌ if a pre-production variant of the J-36 enters ‌emergency service‌ by 2027. Do ‌not‌ evaluate the J-36's progress using the typical post-Cold War fighter development timeline. A more apt comparison would be the rapid development speeds seen during the peak of the Cold War or even World War II.

Don't assume it's impossible. Even two squadrons of J-36s would be significant. Even if powered by three WS-15 engines, the J-36 remains highly stealthy + boasts long (supersonic) range. It integrates the functions of an AWACS, drone command aircraft, fighter, interceptor, and even attack aircraft into a single platform.

If the unthinkable happens, then within the East Asia theater, J-36 represent a lethal threat to the enemy's vast yet vulnerable command and support networks. By 2027, they will not get any countermeasures against this weapons system.‌

Weapons development is driven by operational requirements – don't rigidly apply outdated experiences in peacful post-cold war era here. In fact, many defense-related programs within China have deadlines clustered around 2027. 2027 is absolutely a special year; it's a semi-open secret domestically.

AI is not magical wand to solve all the problems for J-36, and you need to have a rigorous flight testing project to tweak and mature the aerodynamics of J-36 in real life which takes years to mature if not decade
