Really? The SAC design looks sleeker to me. The CAC looks more like a pure fat bomber.

It is quite possible that this is not a competition as the two planes have different role, apparently CAC is a much larger tri-engine while SAC is twin engine (probably smaller).

If it were a competition you'd assume both design bureaus were given the same requirements in range and payloads and therefore should be of similar size.

Its possible both are selected for different roles.

I think the SAC design is optimised for air to air dominance, given its twin engine and wing configuration, whereas the large delta design and three engine configuration of the CAC design appears to be optimised for air to ground or to launch long range stand off weapons

We knew this would happened.... Chinos fly an empty prototype and they go mega nuts thinking they have just bested the US. Right now they are in a celestial high due to years of inferiority complex. I mean chinos couldn't just enjoy their "6th gen" reveal without mentioning us/U.S then they get pissed off that you would respond with facts.

No, SAC design is less stealthy compare to CAC, and NGAD have same plan-form that of CAC design ( tailless Cropped delta)

We can't say for sure it's less stealthy as we've barely seen anything, and only from an extreme distance. Also, stealth isn't the only consideration.
