It feels like the first two carriers were deployed as soon as they were announced, yet with Fujian it feels 20 years have passed and all I see are occasional pictures.

Yes, I'm impatient.

Considering that the power and maximum cross-section of 003 are inherited from Liaoning and Shandong, the square coefficient of Liaoning is taken here as Cb=0.62, then the full load displacement: 285.9×39.5×11.3×0.62×1.025=81097 tons Maximum displacement: 290.6×39.7×11.9×0.62×1.025=87247 tons↓↓↓↓ Previous Situation ↓↓↓↓

SHANGHAI, May 1 (Xinhua) -- China's third aircraft carrier, the Fujian, set out for maiden sea trials on Wednesday morning.
The ship left Shanghai Jiangnan Shipyard at around 8 a.m. The sea trials will primarily test the reliability and stability of the aircraft carrier's propulsion and electrical systems.

Since its launch in June 2022, the Fujian has completed its mooring trials, outfitting work and equipment adjustments. It has met the technical requirements for sea trials. ■
