Chinese SAC - FC-31/J-35 5th Gen Stealth Aircraft

Hardly bizarre when your counterpoint is logically incorrect.

PAF got J-10CE after India placed orders for Rafales.

PAF will not get J-35E until after India places orders for 5th gen. It is not wise to create instability. What does PAF need 5th gen for before India? To balance out IAF's quantitative edge?

Regardless, your counterpoint only proves my logic.

PAF has a fleet replacement / decomissioning problem right now, with the Mirage and F7PG series posing a problem. They need to be replaced asap, and the question is, what will they be replaced with ?

PAF will want to get the most capability for its money, and it will need to procure new planes for that retirement programme. Does it buy more JF17Cs, J10CE or J-35AEs. I don't see J-35AE being tied to India's 5th gen procurement plans as it makes not difference to Pakistan, which Platform India goes for as Pakistan can only buy the J-35AE and Kaan...

It's an online forum, enthusiasts are excited about the inevitable induction of some variant of the J-35, but you are visibly upset. Calm down, and let people air their views....

No, I‘m a moderator in this section and the thread is about the PLA, the J-35 in PLA service and technical things!

Discussing wet-dreams and national hopes like „we get, at best for free“ can be discussed in the PAF section, but not here!

Discussion ended!

When an air chief has already openly admitted that a J35 variant will enter service, sooner or later, why the denial? are you a closet Lindu?

Take this as a VERY clear warning! I‘m not denying his claims, but he did not mention a specific date so anything before 2028 would be „soon“ and thsi always „jumping the waggon“ we get it first and whatever in thsi section is rated off-topic from now on!

If you want to discuss this again and again based on a single claim, then go ahead in the PAF section, but here it will result in warnings & bans! Period.

On Topic. what is the status of WS-19? are they in production now? specifically WS-19 based J35?

You are going to hate what I'm about to say, but it's not like I respect you anymore.

+/- June 2026, you will see at least one prototype in Pak...

So you are openly disrespecting a moderator‘s request to stay on topic and as a result after two more replies (in a more than calm and civilised manner) you hate me!? What a pathetic post!

I think you should really stop posting here and if you want to follow wet-dreams, then better start indeed a thread in the PAF section but not here!

Shenyang News (Local Government News):

The final assembly plant at the new SAC factory complex was successfully completed in June 2025, and construction of the product assembly lines has already begun.

This means that the actual progress is faster than expected. There is a very high probability that mass production will officially begin in 2026.

Bravo China, Bravo!

Some Pakistani Pakistani posters are more informed on this issue than we give credit to them.

It is true, we mock a lot of them, but few people had egg on their faces when J-10Cs, PL-15s and attack choppers turned up out f nowhere. Even many Chinese did not think the new factory would be ready by now. We always seem to underestimate Chinese progress and the depth of China/Pak relations

Yes, Chinese will start mass production of J-35 in 2026.

There's no need to be overly optimistic about 2026.

The completed factory building is the final step in the aircraft manufacturing process – the final assembly plant.
However, supporting facilities such as parts manufacturing plants and related industrial parks are still under construction. The production of related components is currently still being carried out in the workshops of SAC's old factory (with low production efficiency).

Optimistically, the final assembly plant will be experimentally commissioned in 2026, and mass production will begin. However, due to the lagging supporting facilities, its production efficiency will not yet reach the designed capacity.

True Michael, but in the past on this forum even you predicted the factory may not be completed till end of 2026, and it was completed in June 2025.
