The most interesting detail regarding the J-35A flown today is, it is clearly a second aircraft … there are too many notable differences like EODA window, green primer shining thru, different engine colour and most of all a change on the horizontal tail … there are too question now is, which one is the earlier and which the later prototype?

They look indeed different - also the serration of the nozzles - but we saw a similar difference also on the early J-20 prototypes and still they had the same engines!
