Certainly! Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites are indeed capable of detecting the movement of ships. Let’s explore how this works:
Movement of ships and movement of planes. Also motion detection is not same as tracking. Tracking means fast updation of highly accurate position and velocity data.

Can't you read it says the satellite can TRACK the object It then sends the coordinate to the control center or directly to the missile Besides China also has HALE UAV like WZ & with a range of 2000 km. Once it is identified by OVH radar they can send Hale UAv to detect the AWAC

You are showing me "tracking of ships". And that too AIRCRAFT CARRIERS. LOL! You claim that just because you can track 330 meters long aircraft carrier moving at 60 KM per hour at max from space, you can do so with a plane which is one tenth of the length and moves at 15 times the speed?

That is doable.

Aircraft carriers move at less than 70 KM / hour and are of MASSIVE proportions and sizes. So yes, they are seen from space and possibly tracked from space.

You want to track an airplane using similar methods? You are dead wrong! Airplanes move at 900 KM / hour. So your SAR or GEO based tracking will suck. Hard. And you can not send a drone because by the time the drone arrives there, the plane would be long gone and perhaps would have completed its mission.

Over the horizon radars is not for tracking ships, its only for space detection and ICBMs warheads detection, do research before you post crap
Who said it was for tracking? Once it is detected It then sends UAV or satellite to focus on the objective and track it So stop with knee jerk response!

So you will track planes using satellites? LOL!

Lets say somehow you do that in the day, what will you do at night? SAR wont work because of stealth and the fact that satellite has to move quite a bit to get enough synthetic aperture.

Okay since you do not know how shooting down air borne moving targets work. Here is a basic flow.

You detect a hostile using your scanning radars.
You track them using your scanning / firing solution radar. Tracking calculates its position, velocity (speed and direction).
You fire the missile with location you last found.
While missile is flying, you keep on tracking the target.
You update the new location of the target to missile using data link.
Eventually missile arrives near enough the target that it can use its own onboard radar to track the target and chase it. You do not need to provide any further updates.

Now, how will anyone track from 2000 KM away?

When DF21D was first known, debates raged on how the AC would have moved xx km away from its original position and the missile will fail, etc. But they went away and the US recognized DF21D as one of its potential AC killers or AC stoppers. Today, this technology might be feasible using a combination of high aerial UAV radar and satellites. I'm not sure if it will ever become fruitful or useful but nevertheless entertaining to think about the possibilities.

A no-fly zone guarded by UAV radar and UAV drones with PL15, PL10, or PLxx might be exciting too.

That is totally different than a surface to air missile with 2000 km range.

Turkey's Kizlelma is a drone which carries an AESA radar and A2A missiles so yes, that kind of solution exists or is being developed.

You put a word in my mouth I never said using SAR as radar tracking. I said tracking an object of interest. There are many ways to track planes or ships Watch that video about WZ 7 they are design to track and feed coordinate to missile

None of the tracking methods that you have suggested work in night or in clouds. All you have talked about are OTH radar (which can not work as a fire control radar) or remote sensing satellites which surely do not work as fire control radars.

Even if one believes that remote sensing satellies work as fire control radars, what will you do during night? Or with clouds?

There is no question they already tested the ASBM with a moving target. The Pentagon confirms the kill. So all those naysayers are just plainly wrong. That was 2 or 3 years ago. China moves at warp speed
