Tibet was one of the provinces which the central government lost control after the collapse of Qing dynasty in 1911. and some" naive and uninformed" use this situation as a base to argue that Tibet was an independent country before PRC, which is untenable in front of the true history. Not even one country, east or west, recognized Tibet independence.
