No pakistan stopped its own civilian traffic for couple of months, Indian civilian air traffic was going normal, air space restrictions for a particular country is different that was the amount of fear in pakistani military of IAF

The rafale is predictable for India because you don't really have any other choice

Well we already have 36 Rafales in operational service
It doesn't make any economic sense from training and Maintenence point of view to get any other fighter in similar category.

If India wants to acquire a 4.5 gen fighter for IAF or Navy, it will be Rafale

If we were to acquire a 5th gen jet
Then their could be a competition between F35A and Su57Mki

Back to the topic in recently did a chat gpt war simulation india Pak with current inventorys
The Rafale was scoring kill ratios of 8-1 over the thunders and F16s in ten day war sim based on attritional losses we factored in Pak superiority in AWACS too I even reduced the nos to 300 fighters each
India gained Air superiority on day 8
Rafale was the beast well supported by the big fleet of 150 flankers with Astra Bvr and the s400 systems

The point being this scenario had just 36 Rafales taking part we lost 5 over the ten days
Now imagine double that number nearly when marine Rafale arrives is my main point

There is nothing I mean nothing that stands up to Rafale in Pak inventory the j10c in the SIM had similar kill ratio to block 52 only
Early F16 and block 1 and 2 thunders really struggled as did the mig29 and Tejas mark 1

The reality is that Rafale is a purchase of high end highly advanced platform that Pakistan cannot buy in its current state ..
They cannot buy block 70 Falcons or other USA hardware either as it's sanctions prone and no war terror so no freebie...I'm.ignoring the strategic link with India
China is all they have and right now they are going to have all chinease air force soon veit with some limited fifth generation fighters too boot by 2030

How fifth generation they actually are only time will tell

Rafale is hyper expensive but 60/100 of these backed by Aesa equipped Tejas and super Mki and legacy Mki gives India very potent combination.
More than enough to keep air superiority over Pakistan for sure

China unfortunately is a whole new ball game we need Amca soon ...
