India has many things going for it and buying out few fighter jets is no big deal ... its just not the right time or say not on top of owr priority list ... as there are many other ways to keep a more powerfull and always agressive enemy like China in check ..... as for Pakistan well we are already in process of giving its priscription and its working better than we expected ;) :P

here, its worth mentioning that Rafale couldn't replace 'Super Sukhoi' Su30 from 'Top Gun'. we find SU30s are continued to maintain as Top Gun for Indian air force, :coffee:
 
lol, going through the post, you can see a typical BJP warrior like Mr pingle, talks big, looking down on Chinese fifth gen aircraft and only merely three months later, everything has changed, we are delivering while India, still nothing, not even getting some contract signed, let alone indigenous big ticket systems.

Relax buddy..... I appreciate your concerns about Indian arms procurement but even if at this snail pace forget anything nonsense about India just because you are getting some 40 to 90 fancy jets......
For us economy comes first..... handouts don't.....

Off course money is a problem when you are just allocated 1.90% of GDP..... we are not like you Kal ki sochenge Kal ko types.....

And in fact you should be happy actually that we're so lazy or without money to procure anything..... but you actually seem worried about us thanks for all.....

as long as we are nuclear power with ICBMs SSBNs and hypersonic missiles we are fine..... South Asia map is not going to change anytime soon.....

I don't get why we are not buying more of this aircraft while our assembly lines are open, instead we just placed an order for 12 to replace crashed ones and thats it, should have at least procured 36 to boost strength.

Yup, we went from deal "definately being sign by Modi" to now being "mentioned".

Think this deal will be quietly shelved
