Discussion: Electronic devices based attack in Lebanon

Does it matter? Israleis have proved they can target anyone anywhere everywhere.

So many people claimed that Israel is a sham and cowardly.

well, from Iron dome intercepting most missiles to t=whatever this thing is, they have proved they're not a sham. Nor have they run away no matter how many countries have allied against them.

My admiration for the Israeli establishment is high.

Great you can take them, and they live amongst Hindus in India

They are absolutely hated in the middle east and have been the cause of immense suffering backed by the west

Nothing will happen.

It's already happening, Israel is hardly a normal state
It's own population has been run out of its north
It's committed multiple crimes, is hated and despised
It's lost thousands of its own people, it's caused the deaths of tens of thousands of Palestinians

Remember it has to be a functional state where Israeli can live and at the moment it's hardly at peace and is losing the demographic battle whatever it does

If the palestinian resistance is a 100 year 'war' (as you say), then the October attack was a 'battle'. Some dude decided to attack without calculating the outcome. It's like if Pakistan decided to Invade Bombay during Kargil - a decision someone took completely disregarding the enemy's capabilities.

Well, dude decided to go ahead and this is the result.

And now Hezbollah mass Communication is thoroughly disrupted. Those "surviving" would be too scared to trust their own phone/pager. I expect a new "check my phone for bomb" industry popping over night.

What is the cost of freedom and independence, if it leads to freedom and Israel is unable to function as a normal state and every action just creates more hatred for it in the region then the cost however deep may be worth it

How many people have other nations lost in independence movement?

Perhaps you are not aware but Lebanon's ordinary people are just prisoners of Hezbollah

They don't like them

Doesn’t this mean most hezbollah fighters are unable to respond to an incoming Israeli attack/invasion?

Lebanon wouldnt even exist without hezbollah anymore. Eretz Israel includes lebanon and the first invasion was before there was ever a thing called hezbollah

They don't like their own resistance????

And to think that pre 1975 Lebanon likely would have been an ally of Israel, nevermind being home to Hezbollah.

What if there is a Plot twist?

What if Israel had nothing to do with it and low quality, sub standard pagers just exploded because of manufacturing defects? Wouldn't that be strange?
