You beat me to it O' Great One.
I was getting ready to post this impressive and vital branch among the 4 Armed Forces branches and their radars and entire network. It's really something. And all this stuff is just the half of it when you think about it. All the underground assets that we're constantly hearing about but haven't seen any of it? And I'm not 100% sure, but I believe this command & control is actually underground somewhere unknown with decoys to confuse enemy satellite, SIGINT assets and possible enemy surveillance or recon missions during times of war. They've really gone all out to beef up the air defense infrastructure from the lessons learned in the debacle of 1967 and the phenomenal success of 1973.
And this is a perfect example of how serious they're taking the air defense of Egypt. This is no joke lol and I truly believe this is one of several underground command & control centers. (let me know if you can't see this pic)
These are "most" of the Cairo/Nile Delta high-res short-range radars that guard military installations, bases, airports, ministries vital infrastructure & city and civil infrastructure.
All flying aircraft of any kind must have both valid transponders for IFF that identifies them and shows their correct flight route and also issued, registered identification codes so that when they get spotted by the automated system and their transponders don't automatically ID them, then they're radio-contacted in order to give that ID code which is also permission to enter Egyptian airspace given to foreign aircraft. If neither of those steps are able to be validated after several attempts, that's when they get intercepted which is worst case scenario and never really gets to that point. But it's a sound system which is why they have so many of these operators that constantly train.
The best part about all of this is most people that constantly praise the zionist and at the same time diss the Egyptian military as no match and would get instantly destroyed and all that usual crapola, most likely because of what happened in 1967 or some personal bias/hatred have no clue of how extensive and well-organized and effective this is to defend from any attack. They don't even consider what the Egyptian air defense did in 1973 when they slaughtered the zionist aircraft by the hundreds. For some reason they ignore that which was the foundation to the impetus of the creation of what we see here today. When they see these pictures and suddenly realize how impressive the Egyptian Air Defense network is, it makes them think again twice, at the least.
German medium-range air defense system IRIS-T SLM
The latest systems joining the Egyptian Air Defense Forces, with 7 systems
I believe this system has quickly become their favorite medium & short-range system, bro. I also believe this is the one they used to shoot down the Houthi missile that flew near Taba. And because it's so effective and high-tech and has excellent medium range, they're contracting for many more of them to possibly replace some of the older SAM batteries.
