but Israel attacked the Iranian embassy because Iran was pro-active against the Israelis which basically gave Iran the excuse to attack
if Egypt was also proactive against Israel then Israel would give Egypt a excuse for them to move against Israel
so my point comes back to my original statement
why Egypt doesn't play the Iranian game and bait Israel in>?

I know Egypt is well armed, but do you have home grown Anti ship missiles or coastal anti ship missiles that can target going into Israel, the Israeli coast seems to be about 170 miles
The same question about targeting Israeli bases, apart from U.S or European products which would be sanctioned in any warz does Egypt have home grown options that it can launch enmass?
When you Google search , it just brings up western products

EAF is very secretive. Ballistic missiles we have them since ages and we had cooperations with North Korea and China. Some say that we have Bastion defense system, P-15 Termit, Harpoon, some russian cruise missile.

Egypt is the only standing country in the region that is capable and willing to face the isrealis in a long extended and all out war, they showed some unexpected resilience in continuing gaza war for 15 months and enduring these heavy losses that are recorded on videos, this was highly unexpected at least for me but it shows how October 7th rocked the bottom of their society and how deeply it threatened their very own existence. Also, it showed how far they are dependent on the US, almost 80%- 90% dependent.
If Egypt is planning & ready for only one thing in the world, it would be isreal.
If Egypt sucks in everthing, it's very good in dealing with the isrealis especially on issues related to military & national security.
We can put them down and they know it, even if the gentlemen here on this forum don't.
Our youngest boy in a slump knows that and don't have a shred of fear in his heart from them, on the contrary all levels of the isreali society have this rooted deep fear that we will throw them in the sea, don't know why?!
Egypt will not attack the jews, but when they do and -they will one day-, we will be ready for them.
Egypt understands more than any other that the isrealis won't fight alone, but some major and global powers will aid or even participate, that's what we are preparing for too and that is our focus now. Hopefully, we won't go that far but if we did may god forbid, we'd like to see the Pakistanis raising their arms side by side.

Look, I grant it its your national pride here. If Israel did not have nuclear weapons I think Egypt would have finished the job a long time ago, and yes, I wish Pakistan would help them if they ever did, but Israel has an estimated 200-250 nuclear warheads and they are on both land based, submarine and probably air based. This is not a joke.
India may have likley tried to finish off Pakistan if Pak did not have nukes too.
Stop taking this as a dig at Egypt, the Arabs or anything else. It is a reality. There is a threshold that is there if ever Israel feels it's existence is at threat, same with Pakistan or even North Korea. This is the age we live in.
What Egypt should be doing, and what it is very capable of is developing its own nuclear capability. Ask yourself why your leaders do not do this. Those that try are finished off by US or in US crosshairs (see Iraq, Libya, Iran etc)
