Military expert #سمير_راغب stated that the appearance of the "Meteor" missile on Egyptian Rafale fighters represents a major strategic shift in the balance of air power in the region, confirming that the missile possesses advanced combat capabilities that give it superiority in long-range air engagements, even against modern stealth aircraft.

Ragheb explained that the "Meteor" missile is characterized by its long range, supersonic speed, and high maneuverability, in addition to being equipped with a "Dual Data Link" system that allows for target changes or missile redirection during flight, which increases its combat efficiency and makes evasion from it more difficult.

He added that Egypt's acquisition of the system came despite Israeli objections, as part of a policy to diversify arms sources, pointing out that the missile is entirely European and not subject to any American restrictions or approvals, which gives Cairo greater flexibility and independence in its use.

Only reason I can think of this is because Egypt is now showing off capabilities to warn Israel to back off and not do some shady shit. If they’ll boldly claim that then you might as well mount them on all rafales and have a massive public stunt with them, not trying to see mini models with mockups on them

That's how it works first..if France gave Egypt a model with the Meteor..it is real..this not a kids' game..Egypt will show them publicly when the time is right..you should understand that the Egyptian pilots might still be in training on them..the planes have new technologies and you need to get familiar with all their new aspects..including the Meteor..

Why buy the Rafale at all? Europe’s military aviation industry has already fallen far behind China and the United States.

The J-10C ranks only around fifth among China’s active military fighter jets. Ahead of the J-10 are the J-20, J-35, J-16, and J-15. In China, it is basically something that should be retired.

In last year’s India-Pakistan air battle, the score against the Rafale was 3–0. And the gap will only continue to widen. Isn’t this just spending money to buy flying coffins?

Mistral is capable of:
Carried more than 30 combat helicopters
It can accommodate 900 soldiers
It accommodates 13 tanks and 58 armored vehicles
Mistral launches 4 landing craft and amphibious vehicles to transport soldiers and equipment
It is considered a mobile military base, as it can direct an entire naval fleet and manage the course of land, sea and air battles thanks to it containing very advanced systems.
It is equipped with advanced weapon systems, including anti-missiles for any potential air threat, and it is also equipped with advanced radar systems to detect all potential hostilities.

Thales RBE2 AESA active radar integration to detect and track multiple targets simultaneously
The fighter is equipped with “Meteor” air-to-air missiles with a range beyond visual level of up to 200 km.
Developing the “Spectra” system for jamming and self-protection.
The fighter was also equipped with a TALIOS targeting pod, which has high accuracy in targeting ground targets.
“AASM Hammer” laser-guided bombs to hit ground targets with extreme precision... The plane can also carry 3 bombs weighing 1000 kg each (Egyptian factory) to destroy heavily fortified targets buried underground.
Automatic terrain collision avoidance systems have also been integrated
Improving the capabilities of resisting navigational interference.

Western fighter jets have long ceased to be tigers; they are merely expensive sick cats. Even with teeth, a sick cat cannot pose a threat to truly advanced fighters.

Why lies.. you just can't accept the truth..You're Egyptian and think the other Egyptians are stupid to buy systems that are not complete? the F-16s were for free so the US could dictate..but these are paid for with billions of dollars..think a little before saying whatever crosses your mind..
