Egyptian Armed Forces

Egypt and Pakistan can get the J-11 upgraded to the level of the J-16..this one is allowed for export..

Please Not again and at best, I suggest you to stop posting Fake News on stuff you don’t understand.

No Country could get any Chinese Flanker, not a J-11, not the J-16 and even more so - that’s again total BS from you - no „J-11 upgraded to the level of the J-16“!

That’s just a blatant lie!!

Fact: We won't get any Russian or Chinese fighter jets as long as Trump is in office.

Sisi is afraid of him , canceled the su-35 deal and the j-10 also.

I think we should now (instead of wasting time on not buying any fighter jet) focus on drones, we can get as much as we want.

Because we aren't allowed the have it on f16 ( we used or still have sparrow bvr but it's old tech now) and rafales , however we do have bvr missiles on mig29

There are no J-35 in the EaglesOfCivilisation 2026 exercise, and J16/J16D's s are NOT for sale to Egypt, or anyone.... not "even" to the Egyptians.

Unlikely to happen unless Egypt's commits to units well over 100 for purchase ...

Anyway, what will the point be of local joint manufacturing for Egypt given that it has no aerospace industry involved in the design of new planes, or plans to do one etc.. Local
"joint" manufacturing seems like a waste of time and money for Egypt, that it could use to purchase new planes instead.

Even with all these in place, unless it can purchase the J-35AE, it will still be turkey shoot for the IDF IAF to take out the EAF with their proposed F-35 fleet.

As said above, J16D are NOT for sale to Egypt. Period. No matter how important Egyptians think they are to themselves..

No actual news anywhere of any signed contracts by Egypt to purchase anything from China recently. No J10CE orders, no KJ-500 orders ( KJ- 700's are NOT on sale for export order yet to anyone )..

Yes - and you will see that in the exercises, but as yet it is capability that Egypt has not planned to purchase from China.

Yes - but how is this relevant to Egypt ?
It’s better to have tot for experience and independence for r and d and manufacturing, back then folks were complaining about not setting up that method and now when we pursue that avenue people still complain, you can’t ant won’t satisfy everyone.

If you want to be successful on how to be successful in building a local industry, take a good long hard look at how Turkiye did it.

Among my favorite pieces in the Egyptian Navy… and most importantly, it was a qualitative leap and a very early vision at the time it entered service. The story of the Ezzat / Ambassador Mk III isn’t just 8 Harpoon and RAM and Phalanx inside a small boat. What’s truly exciting is that the Egyptian Navy, from the design phase in the early 2000s, adopted a philosophy that was still extremely advanced at the time:
Reducing the radar, thermal, and acoustic signature… With high speed, significant firepower, and dense self-defense, inside a relatively small Fast Missile Craft. In just around 700 tons, it achieved:+40 knots A range of nearly 2,000 nautical miles Harpoon for attack RAM + Phalanx for point defense And an advanced surveillance and combat management system.

Egypt wasn’t the first to invent the concept of the stealth naval combatant globally. But it was certainly an early adopter of this philosophy in the region, and one of the most ambitious applications worldwide in the FAC category for its generation.

And for me, the most important thing is what the design reveals about the thinking at the time:Small size and displacement. Lower RCS. Speed and maneuverability. And significant combat power relative to its size.A philosophy that became even clearer later in many modern warship designs.#مصر #البحرية_المصرية #Ezzat #AmbassadorMkIII #FAC #NavalAviation #Military
