Egyptian Armed Forces

Welcome back ya Gomig Eid Mubarak. We need to hype this thread. We must restore it like the old one.

Wenta bel sa7a wel salaama ya Basha.
I'm doing my part haha. I've flooded the last 6 or 7 pages with pics going back to 2014 and some even earlier to recent ones. I also have a huge collection of the EADS coming soon. Some of this stuff is insane the number of different radars the EAD has is mind-blowing, including the main, state of the art command & control station that is actually underground in obviously an undisclosed area. Some really great stuff I'm just glad I have a little time off of work to devote to this. Eshta! (y)

I don't think a lot of people realize how much training the military goes through. That aspect is not really shown so much and if you think about it, when do we ever see any physically unfit members of any branch? You'll never see any soldier overweight or out of shape, especially with the Sa-aqa and the paratroopers. Even the infantry grunts are all in excellent shape and that's because of the constant training they go through.

This is a not so common sighting of the black ARX-160 with the short barrel.

F-16D I believe based on the serial #. Without those it's almost impossible to tell the Ds from the Bs (except for the blk 52s of course) despite the Bs being super old jets from the original batches (early 80s) but they've kept them in excellent condition which makes them hard to distinguish the difference without the serial #s.

One of the toughest things to deal with for the helicopter crews is Egypt's desert climate and especially the sand storms that kick up out of nowhere and are blinding and very destructive to sensitive equipment. Special rotor & engine protective covers are in high demand as a result.

Back in 2015 or so when the EAF was using the Air Tractor AT-802 shared with the UAE fleet and bombing the living daylights out of the cretinous vermin that were crossing in from Libya on the western border to cause trouble in Egypt. This was where the EAF F-16s earned their medal with thousands of sorties and hundreds of millions of $ spent on dropped munitions. Only later to be relieved by the AT-802 to reduce the cost & burden on the F-16s.

Probably the best look at a mint EAF Apache you'll ever see. Click on pic & open image in new tab for high resolution. You can do that on all pics even.

Overhauling F-16 engines. The last time they ordered something like 20 engines was a few years ago. With that many F-16s and all the flight hours they put them through, they must go through overhauls quite frequently.

Rare look at one of the few Mi-24 Hinds.
I actually have a few other large close-ups but they're all with the pilots posing which ruins them, so not going to post them.
