This was back in 2018 during Sinai operations, EAF AT-802U Tractor aircraft carrying 4 GBU-12s. This took pressure off of the F-16s and basically using any expensive fighter jets with high hourly operating costs for ones that did essentially the same job for a lot less hourly costs. EAF operates 12 of these.

Speaking of Chinese ATGM, this is from the development evolution of the original Malyutka (SAGGER) wire-guided ATGM turned into the Chinese-made HJ-73B&C mounted on the SACLOS ATGM missile launcher then mounted on Egyptian-built JEEP JC-8s.

Egyptian army modification of the D-30 122mm howitzer mounted on a Ural 4320 truck with a reinforced frame and hydraulic stabilizers. Really an excellent setup.





That had followed this modification seen in this inspection pic of a similar setup except using the M-46 130 mm towed field artillery gun instead.

This is a specially modified version with quite a few added accessories. Sporting military & civil serial #s 44 & 49087.

One of the special modifications is the added rocket launcher and the other is the enlarged exhaust nozzle.

Unlike these ones with the standard exhaust nozzle.


The order was for 24 AW-149s & 8 AW 189s.




This is the AW-139 ordered prior to the 32 149s & 189s. This is one of EAF's naval SAR/MEDVAC Coast Guard mission helicopters.

In 2021, this EAF Rafale pilot had accumulated over 500 hours in the Rafale. If he's still active now he's probably surpassed 1000 hours and maybe closer to 1500.
