TR isn't reliable. I don't trust it.
So was talk of J10CE a tactic to get better terms for more Rafales ? Will they get the mythical meteors this time around ?
Rafales can't replace our F-16s. So I imagine that we will continue with both Rafales and J-10CE. I am sure we are already contracted the J-10CE and we will get the meteors with the Rafales.

I trust it..I've been following it for years now..95% of its reports proved to be true..

Anyways ..do you remember when Egypt said the Rafale numbers can go up to 100?

No tactic there.. the J-10C is coming to Egypt along the J-35 that is a done deal..to replace the old Chinese fighter and trainers that were manufactured in Egypt under license..

The Rafale is to replace the Mirage-2000 and the old F-16s..

They've already got the Meteor..some Israeli official said it is already in Egypt's arsenal..

Chinese fighters are not a pressure tool, but Egypt has always had a mix of high-tech weapons and medium-capacity weapons to enable Egypt to combine quantity and quality in arming the Egyptian army. Egypt had 500 MiG-21s, 150 F-7s, 118 Mirage-5s, and 43 F-4Es; most of them were taken out of service except for a limited number of Mirages. Now, the F-16B Lock 15, developed into the F-16 Block 40, is at the end of its operational life. Even if Egypt had 84 Rafale aircraft and 52 MIG-29Ms, it would not provide Egypt with sufficient quantities of fighters that would operate in a large theater of operations, whether protecting water sources in the Nile’s sources or attacking a state in Sudan and Libya, and the threats that this represents, in addition to Israeli ambitions in Egyptian lands, or the displacement of Palestinians to Sinai, or dreams of expansion by occupying Sinai, and even Turkish dreams of exploiting Gaza’s resources in the Mediterranean. They are not deterred by a strong Egyptian army and weapons. Superior aviation, therefore, Egypt needs a variety of fighters, whether heavy fighters, multi-role fighters, or light fighters. Israel itself possesses about 400 fighters, including 75 F-35s, and is targeting 75 F-15I 2FAIs, in addition to 220 F-16 fighters and 30 M346 aircraft, in addition to American fighters at the Negev base and a joint American-Israeli base, all of which contain American fighters to protect Israel. Therefore, developing the Egyptian Air Force requires investing in purchasing many fighters. The French side, with the new deal, will expand its acquisition of parts for the Rafale fighters for production from the factories of the Arab Organization for Industrialization. Egypt will also establish a state maintenance and overhaul center for the Rafale fighter fleet and manufacture spare parts for Rafale fighters. Therefore, the economic feasibility for Egypt requires increasing the number of Rafale fighters in Egypt. Egypt had announced its plans that it wanted to obtain 72-100 Rafale fighters. Therefore, negotiating a new deal for the Rafale F4.2 model, which can be developed to the Rafale F5 standard, is a natural matter. France It wants to establish a production line in India or increase the production capacity of Rafale fighters to 5 per month to meet new demands. Israel has contracted for 75 F-35 aircraft and is contracting for an additional 50 aircraft, in addition to the 220 F-16 aircraft it possesses. America also has a base in the Negev with no less than 40 American fighters, and America has another joint military base in Israel with American fighters. In addition to Turkish ambitions for Mediterranean gas, which ignites a war and a strong military presence that represents a deterrent to Turkey’s dreams in the Mediterranean and Libya. The importance of developing the Egyptian Air Force makes it search for fighters from all sources as long as it does not have a large air base. The process of replacing fighters during the war is almost impossible at present. Therefore, the availability of large numbers of fighters requires Egypt to obtain more fighters from several sources. Several months ago, it was announced that there is a qualitative change in the field of economic cooperation with China in a significant way, and China has doubled the size of its industrial and logistical investments in Egypt as a result of the cities and Four logistics zones and two ports are being invested in in Egypt, and the Chinese aim to increase their investment volume to $40 billion, as a result of the economic war and customs procedures between China and the West. This will also include expanding military cooperation. China currently possesses good technological levels in the field of fighter jets, and as Egypt is the largest international customer for Chinese drones, it is natural to develop cooperation to obtain fighter jets, as well as the Loyal Wing aircraft, which simply means obtaining medium and heavy fighter jets. The only Western supplier of fighter jets to Egypt is currently France, and Egypt is looking to expand cooperation with China, even in the field of naval vessels, starting with USVs and reaching frigates, in addition to cooperation in the field of missiles of various types with China. This is despite the fact that there are European negotiations with Egypt to intensify cooperation after America's betrayal of Europe. Europe is now seeking an alliance with countries like Egypt, which means releasing more advanced weapons to Egypt and intensifying cooperation. However, Egypt will not rely on a single source or sole supplier of weapons. The problem for some is that they do not know Egypt's true size. Egypt is a large country and had a very large air force in The seventies and the restoration of its capabilities are vital, especially in light of the various threats and the collapse of a number of neighboring countries' armies, to curb any ambitions in the Eastern Mediterranean, Israel, the sources of the Nile, or any terrorist threats. Therefore, in light of this turbulent climate, as well as the changes in power and state, and the world's transformation into a multipolar global system, Egypt has a good opportunity to develop its military capabilities.

The Egyptian military spokesman: The development of our armed capabilities came in anticipation of the battle of existence

The military spokesman for the Egyptian Armed Forces, Brigadier General Staff of Gharib Abdel Hafez, stressed the full readiness of the Egyptian army to address all the challenges surrounding the country. He explained in statements that Egypt faces continuous challenges along all strategic directions.

Abdel -Hafiz stressed that the Egyptian political leadership’s position towards the Palestinian issue is firm and fixed since 1948, stressing the inevitable necessity of establishing a Palestinian state on the borders of 1967 with East Jerusalem as its capital, in a manner that guarantees the security and stability of the region.

The military spokesman, in the dialogue that was published today, Wednesday, reaffirmed that the displacement of the Palestinian people from their land is a liquidation of the entire Palestinian issue.

He added: "The Egyptian state has been on a high degree of vigilance about this current situation. For this reason, specifically, the armed forces have been keen to develop their capabilities and armament systems systematically over the past ten years."

He continued, “We have faced widespread criticism due to armament deals and the creation of military bases in the previous periods, but we were looking forward to the features of future plans, especially in the post -2011 stage. Current developments have proven the validity of our vision, stressing that the current battle is a battle of existence in every sense of the word.”

Abdel -Hafiz pointed out Egypt's keenness to diversify the sources of arming in light of the current challenges, considering that the size of the current hostilities exceeds the ability of any country to endure alone, according to the official agency.

He concluded by saying: "What we face today is an unprecedented challenge. Therefore, the political leadership was keen to develop the capabilities of the armed forces according to a strategic approach based on diversifying arms sources, so that our armed forces do not depend on one country in this field."

The Egyptian-Turkish rapprochement came just on time.

The Great War of Jerusalem is coming and Turkey and Egypt must do this together.

The J-10C fighter jet ticks all the boxes: It satisfies Cairo’s diversity strategy and technological needs. It is under the sanctions threshold since it is less technologically savvy than the most controversial J-20 5th generation fighters, the equivalent to Russia’s SU-35. And it takes Egypt’s military partnership with China to a new level.

The rumour that the Chinese fighters are bought to replace the ageing versions of Egypt’s significant F-16 fleet is a source of pride for Beijing since its military technology started to be seen as a competitor to Western technology. A heavyweight military power like Egypt relying on Chinese fighters would almost certainly boost China’s share in the regional weapons market, just like Cairo’s purchase of the Rafale boosted its popularity globally.
