One literally cant make this up - Before selling Mirage 5F ROSE upgrades to Pakistan - France already sold superior technology to India in the Mirage 2000.

You are too smart to not know that is a false analogy. A private company from India was not given a license ro produce Mirage 2000s locally before Pakistan bought NEW platforms, that would be dominated by the IP made available to India , from the same company purely as a favour to the sitting French President who had promised overseas Pakistanis in France before his election that he would intervene in favour of the popularity elected leader who had been jailed by the de facto military government.

Regarding the idea that no license was given to produce anything - The Mirage point was not “India had a local production licence" which you are trying to find semantics for... buying from a vendor who also sells to your rival does not, by itself, compromise the equipment. France sold India the Mirage 2000 and still sold and upgraded Mirage-family kit to Pakistan. That did not make ROSE an Indian owned aircraft. Same OEM, two customers. That is how this market works.

Paras does not own Powerus.It took an exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to manufacture and commercialise Guardian-1 in India. Twelve months, India domestic market, licence fee plus a cut of Indian sales... But why would you read into it.. since your motivation isnt caring for Pakistan.... more on that later.

Pakistan is not buying from Paras. The September deal is a limited UAS procurement order plus an MoU with Powerus itself. Powerus has not disclosed the type, value, or software load. You cannot claim Indian-held IP “dominates” a platform you cannot even name.

Even if both sides eventually field related Guardian-family kit, India building Guardian-1 for itself is not India writing Pakistan’s load, holding the crypto, or sitting on a backdoor in units the US OEM ships to Pakistan. Familiarity with a product you licensed for your own market is not compromise of the other customer’s equipment. If your rule is “any India licence poisons every later export from that vendor,” say so and show the path: which box, which bus, which software. You have not.

Now on the red - since it is about the elected leader and not the ACTUAL EQUIPMENT OR EVEN SELLING TO iNDIA.

There are fundamental factual differences in the two situations:

Dassault is one of the most well established defence companies in the world, whereas Powerus has a very limited track record and is clearly benefiting substantially from its links to the Trump family, which has a personal financial stake in it.

Paras is a private sector company that has paid for a license to use Powerus' anti-drone technology. At the time it signed the contract, it took a risk that the Indian government, its most likely customer, would never place an order and its investment in paying for the license would go down the drain. The Indian taxpayers were not on the hook, though now that Pakistan has decided to purchase drones from Powerus, the Indian government is very likely to place a larger order for their antidote based on technology from the same supplier, which is conveniently available to be "made in India". From Pakistan's perspective, taxpayers are paying for a purchase that clearly looks like a favour to the Trump family and which it is not clear why similar equipment could not have been purchased from one of the hundreds, if not thousands, of other companies in the world that had not already made available the counter to an Indian company.

Finally, once Pakistan is invested in the Mirages, Dassualt is the natural partner to purchase the upgrade package from, notwithstanding their relationship with India. What is Powerus offering to Pakistan that was not available from far more established Turkish, Chinese , or even European and American suppliers ?
