Ex-IDF Plus Pakistan Army Bond

One literally cant make this up - Before selling Mirage 5F ROSE upgrades to Pakistan - France already sold superior technology to India in the Mirage 2000.
You are too smart to not know that is a false analogy. A private company from India was not given a license ro produce Mirage 2000s locally before Pakistan bought NEW platforms, that would be dominated by the IP made available to India , from the same company purely as a favour to the sitting French President who had promised overseas Pakistanis in France before his election that he would intervene in favour of the popularity elected leader who had been jailed by the de facto military government.

Regarding the idea that no license was given to produce anything - The Mirage point was not “India had a local production licence" which you are trying to find semantics for... buying from a vendor who also sells to your rival does not, by itself, compromise the equipment. France sold India the Mirage 2000 and still sold and upgraded Mirage-family kit to Pakistan. That did not make ROSE an Indian owned aircraft. Same OEM, two customers. That is how this market works.

Paras does not own Powerus. It took an exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to manufacture and commercialise Guardian-1 in India. Twelve months, India domestic market, licence fee plus a cut of Indian sales... But why would you read into it.. since your motivation isnt caring for Pakistan.... more on that later.

Pakistan is not buying from Paras. The September deal is a limited UAS procurement order plus an MoU with Powerus itself. Powerus has not disclosed the type, value, or software load. You cannot claim Indian-held IP “dominates” a platform you cannot even name.

Even if both sides eventually field related Guardian-family kit, India building Guardian-1 for itself is not India writing Pakistan’s load, holding the crypto, or sitting on a backdoor in units the US OEM ships to Pakistan. Familiarity with a product you licensed for your own market is not compromise of the other customer’s equipment. If your rule is “any India licence poisons every later export from that vendor,” say so and show the path: which box, which bus, which software. You have not.

Now on the red - since it is about the elected leader and not the ACTUAL EQUIPMENT OR EVEN SELLING TO iNDIA.

Thank you for clarifying that cult need to find any whataboutism and basically disqualifies ANYTHING YOU POST HERE as valid critique-

Regardless of what smartness I post or do not post you will repeat a tape recorder on ANYTHING THAT DOES MEET YOUR EXACT SCRIPT and fellow cult members will come in to make themselves feel as happy as witness while they too spam threads to post everything and anything negative they can find because right now regardless of the actual merit of any move.
It would not matter if the contract was signed with Aselsan or CATIC - you would critique it just because your enemy which is now greater for you and that cult simp who thanked you than iblees himself.

Logic, smartness, reason... dont belong in ANY CONVERSATION WITH YOU so long as your motivation is Imran Khan or anyone else whose motivation is going Jind meri Jaan Munir

There are fundamental factual differences in the two situations:

Dassault is one of the most well established defence companies in the world, whereas Powerus has a very limited track record and is clearly benefiting substantially from its links to the Trump family, which has a personal financial stake in it.

Paras is a private sector company that has paid for a license to use Powerus' anti-drone technology. At the time it signed the contract, it took a risk that the Indian government, its most likely customer, would never place an order and its investment in paying for the license would go down the drain. The Indian taxpayers were not on the hook, though now that Pakistan has decided to purchase drones from Powerus, the Indian government is very likely to place a larger order for their antidote based on technology from the same supplier, which is conveniently available to be "made in India". From Pakistan's perspective, taxpayers are paying for a purchase that clearly looks like a favour to the Trump family and which it is not clear why similar equipment could not have been purchased from one of the hundreds, if not thousands, of other companies in the world that had not already made available the counter to an Indian company.

Finally, once Pakistan is invested in the Mirages, Dassualt is the natural partner to purchase the upgrade package from, notwithstanding their relationship with India. What is Powerus offering to Pakistan that was not available from far more established Turkish, Chinese , or even European and American suppliers ?

What is the eventual goal for Paras?
Was it ever going to sell to a private grammar school?

There is NO DOUBT on the deal being negotiated without merit.

But, that is still not relevant to the actual aspect of what the deal enables and whether Pakistan is putting its eggs in any basket or not.

You have unqualified retd colonels in charge of departments in SPD who buy equipment at 5x its price because their cousin is involved - make money and this junk then sits rotting away.

That is quantifiable post mortem.
In this case we have NOTHING on the deal while the military has already purchased and deployed drones at scale - so then what is the actual nature of the critique?

Is it money spent? Nothing has been bought or spent yet - no records or even rumors of it other than this MoU.
Do you know how many trash MoUs Pakistanis sign left and right?

Is it systems compromised? What has been bought? what has been integrated with? What has not performed on which any reports exist of compromise other than the contention that because an Indian company took agency for once specific product therefore whatever Pakistan might(not even has) purchase from Powerus is automatically compromised.

Which part of this deal - has ANYTHING to do with whether or not the current dictator in Pakistan is at loggerheads with a particular political opponent?

Nawaz Sharif was willing to give up nuclear weapons to have F-16s manufactured at Raiwind.
Musharraf gave his family a contract to paint 777 tails.

Neither of those actually go onto the merit of whether the F-16s are compromised or 777s cannot fly.

What is the history of Powerus other than Ziv Marom's background which has everyone crying foul?

He DID NOT FOUND POWERUS. His company was acquired by Powerus last year.

Powerus backbone is SOF advisors in Ukraine and venture capitalists - it is a private equity rollup(so probably a crappy place to work in terms of both job security and sales) - and the product in question is a battle tested Ukrainian product WHICH PAKISTAN HAS TESTED which these guys bring in localization and fast production for - technically all things Pakistan does want.

Criticize the right things at least - which is likely Asim munir (whether he deposed or hangs Imran Khan by end of year is IRRELEVANT TO THIS DEAL) and cabal in their dealings with Trump took an existing recommendation to get this interceptor from Ukraine and gave it to this company to try and secure both a want and goodwill with Trump.

The point is that the Indian government has ( likely) no obligations yet and Paras only purchased optionality ( the real revenues for Powerus will come from the per unit royalty that will be paid if the Indian government or some other government places orders).
There is NO DOUBT on the deal being negotiated without merit.
Thank you for acknowledging that.
What is the history of Powerus other than Ziv Marom's background which has everyone crying foul?
I don't really have a problem with that. He at least brings his professional background to the table. The real issues is that the Powerus is in the process of merging with one of the Trumps' golf course operators ( financial terms are already settled). That makes it look like a bribe paid with public funds for the benefit of the ruling few.

Now, obviously, we know that others are also paying de facto bribes. The charges againt Adani in the US were dropped only because of the promised 10 billion USD investment and Ambani is also investing in Trump affiliated businesses and even the Paras contract might have had some side deals , but there is at least a cold laissez faire capitalism logic behind paying bribes with private funds for one's private interests. Paying bribes with taxpayer money for private benefit is quite another matter.
