There is no 'Shariah Law' in Afghanistan nor was there in the Malakand Division in late 2000s'. Just some backward ass, misogynist tribal people in both regions.

Some months ago in this forum there was a post with a plea from the Afghan Tajik dissident group with an appeal to the Pakistani Pashtuns, something like: Don't fall for the Afghan Taliban Pashtun crap. Pakistan gives you a lot: Universities, infrastructure, culture. Don't end up like the Afghan Taliban Pashtuns!
Sane words and BTW something like that the Baluchistan's PM Mr. Bugti also tells the Baluch: Be part of Pakistan to prosper. He very carefully compares the Baluchis options with those options in Iran's Baluchi community.
