Gencoide definition is clear in Geneva charterAnd I wouldn't want a 'cardiologist' like you ever treating me! And it is not just you: I know another Pakistani-American who called it a 'genocide' when one of the Imran's march on Islamabad was crushed. He too is a medical doctor.
We all know what racist drivel and "ghair maqami" sloganry those "original" karachittes have been throwing at people of not just Pashtun but all other ethnic groups. And it's KPK, not NWFP.Fine but why do you think a Karachiites opinion don't matter or they remain unaffected by affairs in NWFP? 20-25 percent of Karachi residents are from KPK.
Governor Kundi: "Our policies will be in line with Islamabad, not dictated from Kabul, Jalalabad, or Kandahar."
For how long has this terrorism been the MAIN issue in Pakistan and what has military establishment done to fix the problem after their many military operations to this date? Last time I checked, Pakistan performed the worst in global ranking of countries still affected by terrorism.I do want people to be mindful of the main issue, which at least in my mind, is terrorism.
Sir, can you enlighten me why this hybrid setup hasn't bore any fruits in Balochistan since last 2 decades? Situation so dire that TTP which once could never enter BLA areas is now there in full collusion with them? Also, the border smuggling routes which BLA, TTP and certain elements in forces all benefit from?I get your point about IK and how he did not come up to your expectations (his supporters will obviously say "he wasn't allowed to by the powers that be"). However, my point is that as a political party, PTI will definitely say what all other parties say. That is par for the Pakistani politics. I don't begrudge them for it.
I do want people to be mindful of the main issue, which at least in my mind, is terrorism. For those decrying the Governor's rule, please keep in mind that GoP has taken measures like this all over Pakistan when the security situation became untenable (why it gets to that point is another debate). I specifically recall the takeover by the military/para forces in Karachi during Operation Clean-Up. The local/provincial government ceased to exist while that was going on (and it went on for over a year). In our country, nothing is done the easy way because the overall good of the country is always second to lisaniat, zaat, firqa-wariat etc.
Like y'all changed Balochistan? Where the situation is getting dire by the day and some Pakistani version of Baghdad Bob will come on TV and tell you how great everything is?
And bro, per your opinion almost everyone is a moron these days

Learn diplomacy from Denmark. Why would you think it's better for Pakistan to bang it's chest and target trump or the U.S and invite sanctions or problems?
Look, there is always a lot of truth in your posts regarding the inherent flaws of the current system and nobody, be they local or diaspora, can deny that. I sincerely hope and pray we can see an end to the corruption and mismanagement that has been endemic in Pakistan. Of course governance should be partly collaborative and cooperative and residents should not live in fear simply for stating their case. We can but hope that ALL parties have learned some harsh truths over the last decade or two in this regard. The need to critisice them comes from a place where they arrogantly tell you that an autocratic system, a system where criticism against it results in you getting disappeared and your family getting thrashed is better than everything and we should accept it for our own good and we don't know any better. When they won't themselves live a day in such a system.
Thanks for this. As cartoonish as the attempt by Pakistan to nominate him was, this is the currency for the world with Trump and his buffoonery in it.Look you gimp
By nominating, does the buffoon actually win???
No
But is it a smart ploy, to keep his mind and mind of the U.S administration distracted on something else
So if your planning and understand the art of diplomacy you are getting a lot for very little real output
Why would you think it's better for Pakistan to bang it's chest and target trump or the U.S and invite sanctions or problems?
The terrorism comes from the population living thereFor how long has this terrorism been the MAIN issue in Pakistan and what has military establishment done to fix the problem after their many military operations to this date? Yes. Let's reward them by me and you accepting the ghair maqami label wholeheartedly and happily.Atleast reward them for their consistency but one simply cannot take away the reality that a Karachiite is affected by even small events in far flung corners of Pakistan. This political chaos in KPK will have an impact on Karachi.
It takes some time for nomenclature to catch on. Just like the slow gradual process from Hinduwan to Punjabian.
Good post! Why would you think it's better for Pakistan to bang it's chest and target trump or the U.S and invite sanctions or problems?
