Federal cabinet gives nod to imposition of emergency in KP; summary sent to president

Dear PTI-walley...

Your (former) CM's Container was last spotted at a Bus Stand.

Kindly go & check-up on it. It may come in handy for: Final Call 3.0

Not that age matters, but I am easily more than double your age and the reason I state this here is because I have seen relative peace return to various parts of Pakistan after conflagrations and turbulence. Nothing can indefinitely stay the way it is.

Reconciliation is a two way street when both powers involved are equal. In this case, they aren't so for reconciliation to be achieved, one side may have to give more than the other. They were not willing to and thus the outcome that we see now.

It is very dishonest of some members here to imply that the security operations in Pakistan have not yielded anything: One may go back to the years between 2007-2014 to look at some statistics from them--Pakistan was borderline bad like Iraq was since the 2003 war on Iraq.
But the rise of the Afghan Taliban regime since August 2021, with very likely support from the Taliban Khan, has majorly dented those gains. Imran's 'politics' is a dead end unless he engineers security and economic downfall of Pakistan. This is the bottom line and must be understood by all patriotic Pakistanis.

This admission by a boot lover is a proof enough for me that the real administrative power of the state always rested within the military establishment. Once a civilian leader be it Bhutto, Nawaz, Imran or whoever tried to bring that power back to the civilians (to whom the country actually belongs), the military overlords responded with ending their political rule immediately!
My friend, calling each other names seldom leads to anything worthwhile.

Honestly, this is an opportunity for PTI to take a back-seat and let the Center run the province to bring stability and security. The Emergency is not a long term thing and cannot send the provincial assembly packing along with the CM.

Let the state sort out terrorism so PTI can pick up the province and focus on good governance. I wish they'd do the same to Karachi yet again and take the reins to fix the place up.

Yes, Pak military is the single most solid defense against terrorists, internal and external enemies. That doesn't mean other institutions are not doing their bit at all.

Those ungrateful ones who hate Pak military are allergic to any comment in favor of those heroes who are offering supreme sacrifices to protect the people of Pakistan.
Mate, reading the convo first and then reply for god's sake.

The sage from US aka Meengla aka the Unc was insinuating that Pakistan has nothing holding it together except one institution. Which is an insult to uncountable Pakistanis who have given lives or did services for this country.

PTI leadership was told the same in 2022 (since VONC against IK unseated him) to take a "back seat" and let military establishment run the show with its new political allies in the PDM. And yet, they have nothing substantial to show for it for the past 4 years, but still believe that this time they are going to turn things around for the better with MINUS Imran / PTI formula.

So, would a few more ops bring change? Do you think humiliating the public and their mandate (have you seen S. Afridi pic, cuffed behind and surrounded by the Army) is professional?
Wouldn't it increase extremism and deprivation? Who will own IPPs displacement after new operations?
Anyway, let's see.
Pakistani constitution has clearly defined the rights and responsibilities for everyone in Pakistan.

It's not simply a matter of 'humiliating the public and their mandate'. The picture is much bigger.

If a provincial government fails in functioning according to the constitutional provisions, different clauses of the constitution presents multiple options to the federation to deal with the situation. After how the provincial KPK government was functioning for past many months, the action by the federal government was imminent.

However, Pakistan's constitution gives the right to you (and any other Pakistani for that matter) to challenge it in the court. That approach will be much better than merely spreading lies on the Internet.

Well then let's hope KPK doesn't become BALOCHISTAN 2.0 but I've have to have a bit too much daily contacts with people all over KPK for my business, and the sentiment really isn't looking good, as a lot of friends do share things and especially knowing the history and tendencies of people from their.

We already have Maryum Nawaz and her cronies not long ago saying Punjab has bigger threat from KPK than India, which went extremely insulting towards Pashtuns. Now this. Almost feels like someone is doing their best to sow hatred and discord.

Dear its worse then Balochistan already. At least government in Balochistan isn't in bed with terrorists. Now you will see actual change on ground. Baloch terrorists themselves now depend on TTP/TTA afghandu manpower to carry out terrorism.

U have never been to Balochistan or you won't be talking rn as they would have smoked you for being a Punjabi lmao

That wouldn't happen in KPK

GUESS which has been under a hybrid regime already?

So what do the denizens of KPK want to do? Declare Hibatullah Akhundzada as their Ameer and take bayat on his hand? Have KPK join Afghanistan and turn KPK into another province of the Taliban Emirate?

I know the ones leaning toward the Taliban mindset (there are many all over Pakistan) think this would be the best outcome.

The reality is that the people of KPK know that some security and internal stability is to their ultimate benefit. Yes, they may not be happy with PTI being sidelined, but the point I am making is that just because PML-N, MQM and quite a few others had their parties and supporters sidelined, it did not lead to anarchic, separatist tendencies and the same should apply to the KPK. This is all the more the reason given that the State has not inflicted any violence on the populace or subjected it to economic hardships.

Your darling Imran Khan professes nothing less than a Riyasat e Medina and yet disowns his illegimate child and yet you are trying to draw his comparisons with the Mother Piddar Azad liberal societies of the West?
Now about the liberal society argument. God's principles yield the same result all over the universe. Yes, fornication is a big crime and a violation, but it doesn't reflect the professionalism of a person. Also, it is far better than coercion and rape, which are alleged towards many PPP/PMLN politicians and servicemen (police and army).

Before Islam, many people buried daughters, drank alcohol, married their father's other wives, and so on. Once they converted, repented and didn't go back to old ways, everything is fine. Do you think IK is still involved in that vice? If not, then don't bring it up.

If you are concerned that that child is not owned. @Waz can clarify that an illegitimate child doesn't have the right to inheritance. It may include the father's name. But if yo are worried about that child's welfare, so don't be. It is well taken care of.

Next, Imran murders someone on the street and you'd compare him with the 'inner city' ghetto violence in America?
Why do you assume i would do that?
Now, I don't have the references but I objected when IK said that he can buy people's land to extend NAMAL University under Article 24.

I also wrote about punishing Hasan Niazi when a group of lawyers marched and some patients were killed in Punjab Cardiology etc.

Pakistani constitution has clearly defined the rights and responsibilities for everyone in Pakistan.
Giving ONE person (Field Marshal) lifetime immunity from any criminal prosecution in court as they did in 27th amendment of the Constitution is about "everyone" in Pakistan? 🙄

Yes, Pakistan is very fragile. Too fragile for any political party to hold it together. And the Pakistani military, which has the ethnic representations from all of Pakistanis and the military which comes from mostly poorer segments of the society, is the one and only line of defense for Pakistan.
I will never be influenced by the likes of the Sharifs, the Bhuttos and the Imran Cultists to lose the importance of the Pakistani military. BTW, like most Karachiites, I am not at all affiliated with the Pakistan military; we are mostly merchants, traders, businessmen.
Bhai, Pakistan is not a fragile state at all. Or else the enemies would have gotten done with it decades ago.

Pakistan's institutions are functional, maybe not to the desired level though. However, given the sophistication of the hybrid war waged on the state of Pakistan and the level of external support to terrorist TTP/BLA/BLF, etc., it seems only the military is taking on them head-on.

In fact, many other institutions (including police) are playing a vital role in the fight against the enemies and their terrorist arms in Pakistan.

Man death to the Taliban. I'd hate to see that but Ik for a fact that TTP numbers are about to get tripled and more. Credits to Asim Munir, he's a great friend of Kandahar.
