Federal cabinet gives nod to imposition of emergency in KP; summary sent to president

Why did you pick the shit examples?

Why didn't you pick Canada, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea - heck even Poland or Estonia?

They're all nations so much better off than ours.

There is a context to it which you did not understand. And my point was that alot of PTI followers I have noticed recently saying that "acha hota agar hum India kay saat hi hotay" because to them materialistic development is all what matters thus I gave Israel Palestine anology.

I am aware I just want to see how far these guys will lie to cover for their favourite establishment.

Mr Imran Khan is a civilian who was elected to parliament, and then elected Prime Minister. He ruled according to the Constitution and was deposed using constitutional, though politically dubious, means. He and his party are now political prisoners.

Now let's compare to the khaki duffers who have ruled (ruined) Pakistan by the gun. Did any of them ever win an election ? Did they ever obey any court order ? Did they ever consult the people (Parliament) ? Did any of them obey the Constitution ?
Were they ever charged in any court and jailed for their crimes ??

No, never happened. There is no comparison between civilian leadership and the criminal dictators who come to power illegally and rule via oppression and murder.

Asim Munir's fate will be the same as all other dictator criminals of Pakistan. Those who refuse to learn from history are condemned to repeat it.

Pakistani judicial system is compromised and there no chance that any innocent person unless he is backed by some powerful people can ever win a case.

let me throw a curve ball... maybe in alternate reality (for those who watch "Dark Matter")....If corruption cases from Panama Papers (2016), Pandora Papers (2021) and NAB cases (and 40 families mention in Gohar Ejaz report) including cases from last 60 years were allowed to move to Chinese court, what do you think will happened to Establishment and their supporters?

Who is rhe government dude? Asim munir or KPK govt

I simply dont get why the hell people dont get the fact that we have a constitution of 1974..like is that hard to understand

Just saying.... when Mr Jinnah was alive east pakistan was part of the constitution but in 1974 constitution it got removed. Just because constitution says so does not mean it should be treated as verse from Quran.
In current Pakistan's situation... no doubt PTI can pull 2/3 majority.... what mechanism do they have that after Imran khan dies that PTI would stay intact and not make a mess of the nation? I have so many questions and scenarios that you PTI people will run out of Whataboutism to defend your arguments.

No he did not. He chose to remain stubborn and not understand the game. If there was no VONC, it very much seemed that PTI would lose the next elections. VONC was a God gifted opportunity to capitalize on, it resulted in huge rise in sympathy for PTI / IK. It was just a matter of 1.5 years and PTI could have been back with simple majority. PTI's political opponents had committed a political suicide, but as it goes with PTI ... what we saw was impatience, immaturity and stupid actions at part of PTI. Mistake after mistake, stupidity after stupidity, haste and inability to see the bigger picture and decide for the long term.

Good post. "Stupid is, as stupid does". Even Forrest Gump had more wisdom than the Taliban Khan!

You are absolutely right about the VONC: It was a great opportunity for PTI to regroup. Look at my own posts in the old PDF from late March 2022 till 9 April (when VONC happened). I had been saying that Imran should accept the VONC and that once VONC motion is introduced, then there is no way one can back out of that. It was stunning that Imran displayed so much arrogance and stupidity by trying to get out of the VONC. I was called something like an American stooge for my opinion then-- similar to the 'yank' comment made some pages here ago.

Imran had near majorities in the National Assembly and in the Punjab Assembly and a clear majority in the KPK assembly then. He could have just walked a few feet across the aisle to become perhaps the most powerful Leader of the Opposition in entire Pakistani parliamentary history. But instead not only he violated the Const. of Pakistan by throwing out the VONC but he did the ultimate stupidity: Dissolving the Assemblies--a right he had clearly lost when VONC was tabled.

Even now--just look at what happened: I posted a video of Javed Chaudry a few pages ago yesterday; Javed gives almost hour by hour account of what happened to lead to the Governors Rule. Nobody wanted the rule but Achakzai's insistence on meeting Imran first was where things broke down.

What a dumbass political leadership, led by a total idiot and arrogant Idiot Khan!

Pakistan Army is an institution and Asim Munir is nevertheless a mortal man. Nothing is permanent and constant. Nawaz was thrown out of PM house, he was about to be hanged, but the fkr came back and became PM again.

There is time to shut up and introspect and then there is time to act. IK thought he had mastered Pakistan's politics and became undisputed champion, while he did not even understand "lotay" will remain "lotay". PTI was just high on "Hum pathan hain" hormone, the result, lost KPK too. Lesson that should be learnt >>>>> Never ever go full retard. There was no point in turning people against their own army, most Pakistanis who did not like him were sympathetic to him after VONC, but then again he had to prove a point and could not wait. IK should have learnt from his first divorce, who he is dealing with and what kind of politics they do, but nope.
No one turned the people against the army. Some generals used the army against the people. The few men of honour who did not get on with the program were purged out.

Nice cherry picking! You not only deny the help from the Establishment to prop up Imran but you also would deny that the Establishment literally arm-twisted smaller political parties into supporting Imran to become the PM of Pakistan. Yeah, the same Establishment which your Namak Haram Khan later turned against just as he was about to lose power. You may want to look up the journalist Haroon Rashid's video shortly after the 2018 elections/Imran taking the office of the PM: Per Haroon, the Establishment team made the MQM MNAs literally sit on 'Thandey Farash' (Cold Floor) through a night until the MNAs agreed to support Imran to become the PM.

Imran a democrat? Biggest joke. He is simply a Namak Haram and a coward who disowns his own biological illegitimate child--a child ironically being raised by one of Imran's ex-wives.

And he is not a 'political prisoner'. He is a CRIMINAL and a traitor like Mujib ur Rehman was. And his chapter is over.

Yep, dissolving the assemblies was height of idiocy. On top he went to streets after that. There never was a plan, do not know if was dancing to the tunes of peerni or what but he sure wasn't acting mature and wise.

but Achakzai's insistence on meeting Imran first was where things broke down.

Again, allying with Achakzais and Fazlu scums of Pakistan and expecting people should be okay, no wonder it became a pushtoon party in very little time.

I wonder if this guy had any sincere person in his close circle, Ali Muhammad Khan seemed reasonable and mature, but then he was never trusted with any position.

When will we ever hold the ones who provide generals with these opportunities, accountable too?

Our whole whining starts and ends at Jarnail kha gay, Kya Jarnail akailay kha sktay hain ya yeh sab kar sakty hain?

No, there is a whole ecosystem that benefits from the system, but anyone who tries to break the system is crushed by the vested interests closing ranks.

Who chooses the people for that system? Was PTI like others also part of that system?

There were veteran, smart politicians like Punjab's former Chief Minister like Pervez Elahi who literally begged the Idiot Khan to not dissolve the Punjab Assembly but Imran didn't listen to him. Imran actually had some very decent politicians in his circle but was too arrogant to listen to them.

It is a Pashtoon party but note that even in the KPK, Imran's party doesn't poll more than half. Pakistani nation has many political parties, some of which are deeply entrenched for generations. Imran's arrogance elevated him to be another M.A. Jinnah like figure which he was not and which we should not mistake him for: He became genuinely popular after losing the VONC and after selling the total rubbish about the American conspiracy to topple him. Not hard to do in a country like Pakistan with deep Anti Americanism and also people are always fed up with whoever is ruling the country. Give Imran power for a year and you'd see the same impatient people would turn against him.

It is the institution that is the self proclaimed guardian of the country that selects the people to guard their interests and I don't dispute that PTI did benefit from the system at one point, but when Imran Khan tried to break the system, it closed ranks and turned viciously on him to protect its privileges.

Now, no more excuses. You got full control of both KP and Balochistan (and of federal government, Punjab and partial control of Sindh).

You better deliver results, no more randi rona, no more deflections. Fix the terrorism now.

Mere Bhai: Imran offered the moon to General Bajwa try to save Imran's govt! Historic facts. He was not some anti-Establishment person going even into 2022 but decide to become one only when his erstwhile benefactors in the Establishment refused to support him anymore.
Who are the Cultists trying to fool? Imran, like Nawaz and many others, was just as much a product and a toadie for the Establishment as they come. They all turn against their benefactors when they lose power. Don't be surprised if the Noonies lose power again they repeat their old antics but I don't think they are the total stupid like Imran to go too far in their protests then.
