Federal cabinet gives nod to imposition of emergency in KP; summary sent to president

Dialogue will remain the only option. You can never kill all of them. You literally cannot. Life is not a videogame and there is no button you can press that will kill an entire tribal area. Baat sheet honi hi honi hay.

Even if you do a massive multi billion dollar operation right now you will have negotiations at the end.

You will also have to spend billions more in rebuilding. If you don't, the area that you flatten simply becomes the recruiting ground.

If Lahore was flattened today and sunk into abject poverty. Many people previously doing everyday jobs would resort to other means of income. Like joining a gang or becoming smugglers etc.

Fighting an insurgency in your own territory is very different from going to a conventional war. This is something that many countries fail to understand repeatedly.

As corny as it sounds, violence begets violence. It's a cycle. You have to break it or it's never ending.

As for criticism of Pakistan Army. When my light would go I would curse LESCO. When my Internet went out in the middle of an online match I'd curse PTCL.

When I'd get rear ended by someone right in front of a traffic warden and watch the warden do nothing as the guy speeds off, believe me, I'd curse him too

Whether it's right or wrong morally to curse is separate issue, so the question is, does that make one anti-Pakistani or just frustrated?

If I curse the army for doing a shit job then am I anti-Pakistani? Kya unho ne nahi ki ghaltia unho ne? Be tahasha ghalti ki hay. Ziadti bhi ki hay. Many times.

The army of Pakistan is not like others. It is both the country's military and a sort of shadow political force in the country. This is called conflict of interest and it's exactly why I'm so hardcore about army staying away from politics.

When people criticize or ridicule the army they're usually talking about that political aspect. I've seen very few people who say he hates jawaans or officers doing their duty.

Only people that said such things were from places like Bannu or Dera Ismail where they had a specific negative experience or witnessed something.

Can you just share with me PTI's negotiation talking points with TTP? I just need to know what different negotiation approach does PTI has that Army has not tried already.
And what action plan has PTI implemented.
Thats all I need to know.

Seriously? The whole 90s and the whole 2010s was working relations. Punjab governor rule by PP, NS going to court in lawyer’s uniform against PP post 2008 election to get yousef raza gilani disqualified, Iftikhar Chaudary and PMLN’s games etc etc. and that’s just ~2010s, 90s were waaaay uglier.

It was only PTI that became a common threat they joined together.

Establishment could not just get rid of all political parties, they needed someone to run the hybrid system.

12 district military tookover , which are mineral rich. Rest admistration from punjabi league.
Lust of money of these Generals , PMLN, PeePeePee.

The murder of a last bit of democracy left in this country. And not surprised by the comments on this thread. This nation has a short term memory.
Right now every institution of this country is being molded to protect the biggest criminal and gangster of this country called Asim Munir.
I bet his ill gotten fortune will be ten times bigger than bajwa when he will retire. And the long term damage to institutions and economy will be irrecoverable.
Only armed civil war now can suppress this monster else no hopes left.

Whats your opinion about Iranian democratic voices? Almost all overseas and majority of domestic Iranians want democratic revolution just like overseas Pakistanis wants to see in Pakistan. Since PTI always look for outside support for ots democratic rights, why cant PTI voice support for other nations democratic reforms.

U mean PTI and fauj?

Establishment could not just get rid of all political parties, they needed someone to run the hybrid system.

And this was the problem

We have to remember we are a develops nation

For all the deep state nonsense, we don't have the money and endless resources to create a true technocrat system

So we have this stupid hybrid system where local power is administered by corrupt idiots from Bhutto's to sharifs to khan's, to walis, to mullahs and sardars and all.manner if corrupt,. compromised scum

And to maintain power these individuals and groups have blackmailed the country
Either give us power or we will create chaos and marches and spread propaganda to a thick as shit gullible population

And the hybrid system did just that,

But it's chaotic, not as bad as total open democracy where local corruption would open Pakistan to enemies across the world without the shield we have set up

We need it all gone
We need sharifs and Bhuttos gone,
No more sardars and walis and chiefs and mullahs

But we can't do that right away, so we need to bring them in, give them.a piece of the pie, shut them up and then get on with things

The PTi cult idiots, actually think that a open democracy will.work.in Pakistan, that our diverse Ethnocentric population will actually allow progress and development without local groups constantly blackmailing the state with chaos

I dont think you understood my argument.
PTI leadership and its followers claim dialogue is the only option so what has been their talking points with TTP? Has PTI able to convince TTP to disarm and accept Pakistan sovereignty?
So far what I have observed that PTI specially its followers is only giving TTP moral support by constantly labeling Pakistan forces as dollar army and that they are fighting for just cause.
Let's sink this in: Even in the early 2000s, Imran, while trying to get to Power through President (General!) Musharraf, was criticizing the military action against those terrorists from Afghanistan who sneaked into Pakistan after 9/11 and who were working with their ideological cousins in the border areas of KP.
The guy has no principles and is a total moron, opportunists and stupid on top of that. His 'narrative' about the Taliban terrorists have been the biggest source of ideological oxygen available to the terrorists. And there is a quarter century of history to back that up.

If quoting the fugitive 'journalists' isn't bad enough, quoting the debunked, rubbish about the BRT buses stolen by Punjab is another level. You could do better.
