Federal cabinet gives nod to imposition of emergency in KP; summary sent to president

But we have 10,000s of FC, army, agencies on the borders, our security forces are doing 1000s of operations in KPK and Balochistan but terrorism is still not decreasing. The army says terrorists cross the border, attack and leave. That is the job of the army and FC, agencies.

Terrorism in Pakistan was almost totally controlled by 2019/2020 due to security operations. But there are two extremely important factors to note:
1) Imran Khan, since the early 2000s, was the ideological oxygen to the Taliban like ideology. I don't want to copy/paste his statements from a quarter century ago.
2) The American disgraceful exodus from Afghanistan in summer of 2021 was another oxygen to the likes of opportunists like Imran Khan.

IMO, Imran Khan is a supreme opportunist unlike any before. I truly believe he and his cultist followers wouldn't mind Pakistan to be dismembered just to see Imran coming back to power in a nation destroyed to ashes.

ok
Nope. On Feb 8, Pakistanis showed that they are the most intelligent and democracy seeking people. The internet was down, 100s of symbols were issued for a single party, nomination papers were snatched or not accepted, and so on, besides suppression.

Still, they managed to find a PTI candidate and vote. Show me a similar example.

The system accepted that these parties are entrenched
Democracy is a sham,, their is just a revolving door
Sharif comes, everyone else causes chaos for 4 years
Shit democratic elections and then the torch is passed to the Bhuttos
The Sindhi vote for Bhuttos and wadheras
Baloch for Sardars
pashtuns for ANP, chiefs, diesel and khan
Punjabi for Sharifs
Aint that the truth?!
Look at how mindlessly people vote for the Bhuttos in Sindh since late 60s. Imran's Cultists parroting 'give the power back to the people' are either deluded or anti-Pakistan.
Those asking for some unvarnished 'democracy' in Pakistan are either unwitting Indian/Afghan agents or not Pakistanis at all.

@Goenitz So, KPK budget surplus finally exposed ... I don t know how this countries is running ..... might is right.

Was it really "democracy" in Pakistan that made military establishment of the 1980s to take Islamist "Afghan Jihad" route to counter Soviets in Afghanistan? 🙄

That was right decision to not allow Soviet Union Afghanistan regime. Just like now its right decision to kill any and every terrorist that threaten Pakistan.

I have a few Imran followers blocked in my network here but I have respect for others in this forum, as much as I disagree with them.
We should not stoop too low in expressing our disagreements. I believe out goals are the same but with different paths forward.

Do you also suffer from SELECTIVE amnesia?

I don't know anything about your claim but if we take it at the face value, what stopped PTI's provincial government to have a similar deal with TTP to save the people of KPK from TTP terrorist attacks?

Don't tell me that TTP and PTI are enemies and so they couldn't conclude a deal.

I think it's a common knowledge that local police serves as the ears and eyes for the state. PTI's provincial government kept the KPK police starved of the required funds, resources, training, etc. and left it at the mercy of terrorists. That's why there was a kind of revolt in police there because some police officials decided to get a free hand in waging a war on terrorists.

Even worse, PTI's KPK government kept the CTD inactive in KPK. It didn't even call military for help according to constitutional provisions to safeguard the life and property of the people of KPK.

Nope. It was the usual American dollar connection which pushed such a suicidal state policy at that time:

Buddy it was the pashto pashto Islamic bradder mindeset that did this

We then utilized our need to get as much funds as we possibly could

Those however didn't even scratch the surface of the cost of keeping namak haram worthless afghans

Regardless, we must live in the NOW and deal with the enemies before us

Afghans are our enemies and need to be broken, we can't endlessly yammer on about 80's and 60's and fatima bhutto or whatever

Who cares!!!!

Let's just destroy the enemies we have before us

Everything points toward 'perform or perish'.
Does this rule also apply to the performance of military establishment which has finally brought Pakistan to the top when it comes to the list of countries most impacted by terrorism? 🙄
For the first time, Pakistan recorded the highest score on the Index and is the country most impacted by terrorism.

Exactly! I wonder why "perform or perish" rule doesn't apply to military establishment like they always do with the civilian leadership? 🤔

The problem with the PTI and braindead idiots is that they think democracy is actually possible, IT ISNT
Democracy if OF COURSE not possible in a country where people's mandate consistently gets stolen & given away to military establishment's favorites every single time! 🙄

Then what was the likes of military establishment (DG ISI) doing in Kabul drinking tea with the Taliban following American exit? 🙄
