Federal cabinet gives nod to imposition of emergency in KP; summary sent to president

Our so called founding abus made a mistake of not catching this blunder on time but instead went with it anyways.
If founding fathers of Pakistan can make mistakes — so can those so-called military abus who began imposing martial laws on the country since at least 1958...

I am just proving a point that Zia was still in popularity even after his death thats why Nawaz used used his name in his speeches.
Yeah, sure, Zia was so damn popular that his political son Nawaz actually lost the general elections of 1988 (after Zia's death) to Benazir of PPP (the very political party Zia thought he "crushed" during his ten year rule). 🙄

Well atleast you admit East Pakistan was a blunder.
But Military regime does not break any Islamic laws. No laws in Islam forbids Military rule.

PPP and PMLN were head to head in terms of popularity. The point is, Zia legacy was still remember for many years even after his death.

Just imagine a IK led Pakistan right now.

20 million afghans will full Pakistani citizenship in all corners of the country acting as his gestapo and vote bank.

Widespread corruption and economy in the toilet.

Radicalization and talibanization becomes the norm.

The world thinks Afghanistan and Pakistan are the same. Whats left of the reputation also down the toilet.

The military neutered by submissive generals like Faiz. The military discipline and excellence finished. Just another banana republic army, corrupt and incompetent.

10 years later desperation creeps in and his Epstein connections poke him to denuclearize, gets eaten alive by the Indians and the story of Pakistan is finished.

Dont forget that PTI can always blame Fauj as a easy way to hide its failures.

Imran's Cultist supporters have a very hard time to accept that they were wrong about Imran's (lacking) credentials. It has become an ego-issue for them now and they are unwilling or unable to change course.

I don't want to get into his stupid and vindictive rule as the PM of Pakistan. I'd say this with certainty: His decisions and actions starting about October 2021, when he sensed that the military was removing its support, tell a story of a total IDIOT! He was like the proverbial lumberjack story we read in our childhood: The lumberjack sawing off the same branch he was sitting on and fell down.

Imran was called 'Mini Trump' by his former wife Reham Khan. I think that would be an insult to even Trump!

Just imagine a IK led Pakistan right now.
There is actually NO need to imagine that — given where Asim Munir led Pakistan has landed so far:
Pakistan ranked number one globally in the Global Terrorism Index 2026 released by the Institute for Economics & Peace (IEP), making it the country most impacted by terrorism for the first time since the index began.

Or vice versa with DG ISI once again complaining on TV about PTI leadership "not cooperating"... 🙄
💅 🙄💅
Not cooperating in KPK on doing their job and then finally governor raj was implemented to free KPK from PTI fitna.

Why is it even expected of PTI to "change" course when military establishment of Pakistan currently opposing them NEVER does? 🙄

Is there a way one can finally get Pakistan free from military establishment's "fitna" of faulty policies & never ending political experiments? 🙄

Yes I agree, PTI was a very bad experiment started in 1990s.

There is gradual decline in PTI's performance. I hear the rule of Pervez Khattak as the Chief Minister of KPK was decent. I hear even Gandapur as the CM was not all that bad. But Imran's declining political status led to him losing control over his party and so Imran's only agenda in last three years has been his own emancipation. He was a contemporary to Benazir Bhutto at Oxford University--she excelled there while he a mediocre guy--anyway, if he studied how she handled Zia ul Haq and later the Nawaz gang, he would have benefited from such studies.
But his defining characteristic is stupidity and arrogance.

So it just happens terrorism increases after IK is pushed out of office...
...and military establishment pushes in with resettlement of TTP fighters in the province as per news reported on September 2022 (IK was ousted in April 2022):
Murad Saeed, a former federal minister and lawmaker from Swat, told IPS that he has led a campaign to get the government to put brakes on militants before they establish themselves and there was a repeat of the 2007 situation when the group killed soldiers, singers, and opponents. However, all his requests have fallen on deaf ears.

“The militants are coming from neighboring Afghanistan … The Taliban are sending threatening letters to people for extortion. They are kidnapping people for ransom,” he said.

That's right, however, their autocratic civilian rulers still got brains to run a country successfully — given the large size & population of China — unlike the autocratic military rulers of Pakistan 🇵🇰
Xi has risen from a councillor or Xiamen.
It is his core competency to rule a state unlike any general anywhere.
