Hebrew Channel 12: We are facing a major catastrophe. The death toll exceeds 50 from the army forces in today’s battles in the Gaza Strip.

So far, 22 bodies of Israeli soldiers have been transferred. They were killed in Khan Yunis, and contact with 50 soldiers has been lost. The special unit for transporting bodies and injured people is still working to recover the remains and bodies of Israeli soldiers from under the rubble of the building and tunnel that were targeted by explosive devices from the Palestinian resistance.

Yes, 'self preservation' and conserving 'resources'. Not even America has infinite resources to keep supplying Ukraine, Israel and at the same time tackle China over Taiwan. At least in case of Ukraine and Taiwan there could be some strategic interests--in case of Israel, the strategic interests ended after the end of the Cold War, notwithstanding the BS theory about 'Aircraft Carrier'. There are other so-called Aircraft Carriers! Qatar was the launchpad to attack Iraq in 2003. Jordan is a vassal state and so on and on. But Israel is special because of the Israel Lobby in America! The leeching Lobby eating America like termites from inside.
So you are correct, America's strategic interests are under threat because of the spoilt-brat Israel and there is attempt by the West to make Israel behave; even the EU is now talking about the Two State Solution. Yesterday Israeli FM was in Europe and he was basically told about the Two State Solution as the only option.

If Gazans can build a sophisticated war-city under the ground like that then they can surely booby-trap buildings. Not only the Gazans have the advantage of the home turf but they are also not afraid to risk their lives and move between Israeli troops to carry out operations. Can't be said that same about the Israeli troops who seem to congregate when not inside tanks--safety in numbers for the cowardly Tik Tok Army made of the Reservists but they become easier targets that way!!
If only Muslims would pick up quran again and choose the right path.

OMG! If 123 killed is correct then imagine the ones who are injured! If true yesterday could be a watershed moment: The dwindling faith in IDF in America will have taken a big hit. No one wants to keep funding a loser army--happening in Ukraine as happened in Afghanistan in the summer of 2021.
If there exists a supply route from Egypt into Gaza then Egypt should provide the Gazans some real weaponry--as they say in Urdu language: 'Girti Deevar ko aik dhakka aur do' (Let's give one final push to this crumbling wall).
