This result was possible due to the continued recovery of demand in Russia, as well as strong sales in Turkey, which in May increased by 10% to 100 thousand cars due to the consistent increase in interest rates by the Central Bank of the country.
In South America, local dealers sold 215,900 vehicles, up 5.8% year-on-year. Among the world's largest car markets, Japan (309.4 thousand vehicles, -4.5%), Canada (163.1 thousand vehicles, -1.5%) and Korea (138.8 thousand vehicles, -7.3%) are also worth mentioning.
