Govt to present constitutional amendments in next NA session

I dont know if this is true or not, I guess the cat will be out of the bag soon if it is.

Perhaps even add the current chief’s face to the currency - get rid of that weak looking fart Jinnah. Just like the current UK head of state’s face is on the currency - put Hafiz sb on the currency and then from there on every note gets its own Army chief..

So maybe if Hafiz sb gets 5000rs, Musharraf get $1000 , $500 to Raheel Shareef, $100 to Ayub Khan, $20 to Zia and maybe $10 to Jinnah as participant.
Bhai seedha seedha martial law lagade bas. I'm ready.

It'll be way better than this hybrid clown show anyday.

Waseem Malik:

"The real interest of the military in this constitutional amendment is that, after the amendment, the military will have the right to try any civilian in a military court.

There is a plan to turn Pakistan into North Korea, Burma, and Egypt."

According to the proposed constitutional amendments, a new court will be established. All courts will be subordinate to this Federal Court and its Chief Justice, who will, in turn, be under the authority of Shehbaz Sharif.

Now, I don’t need to explain who that Chief Justice will be, and under whom he will be serving—nor who Shehbaz Sharif himself is serving."

An amendment to add a new clause (5) in Article 243 of the Constitution:

The appointment, re-appointment, extension, service limit (tenure), retirement, and dismissal of the Army Chief, Air Chief, and Naval Chief will be made subject to the Army Act and Armed Forces regulations
the consequences of such an amendment could be significant:

  1. Increased Military Control: By making the appointments, reappointments, extensions, and dismissals of top military officials subject to military laws and regulations, it could centralize and enhance the military’s internal control over its leadership. This would potentially reduce civilian oversight and influence on these critical decisions.
  2. Weakening of Civilian Government: The amendment could further weaken the civilian government’s authority over the military. This might undermine the democratic principle of civilian supremacy, where elected officials hold power over the military.
  3. Extended Tenure for Military Leaders: By making extensions and reappointments easier, military leaders could potentially stay in power longer, reducing the chances for regular leadership transitions and increasing the possibility of further consolidating their influence.
  4. Impact on Judicial and Civil Oversight: If the Army Act and Armed Forces regulations govern the top military leadership, it could limit the ability of civilian courts and institutions to intervene or review military leadership decisions, further insulating the military from accountability.
  5. Shift in Balance of Power: This move could alter the balance of power between civilian institutions and the military, potentially leading to a situation where the military exercises more influence over state matters, similar to what is seen in more authoritarian regimes. This risks the erosion of democratic norms.
In essence, this could result in a stronger and more autonomous military, with diminished civilian oversight and accountability, which could jeopardize the future of democracy in Pakistan.

Army alert 🚨 this one is very interesting. He wants to safe himself in future if his appointment get decoded and prosecution
According to constitutional experts, there is a legal flaw in the appointment of the Army Chief that must be addressed. General Asim was supposed to retire on November 27, 2022, but his service was retained for two days, and he was appointed as the Army Chief starting November 29. Through the constitutional amendment, Army Chiefs and service chiefs are being given comprehensive protection, ensuring that they cannot be challenged in the future without a two-thirds majority. This move is subjecting the supremacy of the Constitution to legal provisions.
