Hangor Class Submarine | Updates & Discussion

It's name is .........
PNS Shushuk
Seriously 😳
Just as the first group of Hangors before it.
And its a good name.
It is the common term now for both the Indus River dolphin and Ganges river dolphin.

Shushuk is the Bengali for it
Bhulan is sindhi and urdu - probably the more appropriate one but then Shushuk is historical and with the current outreach to BD a good one to keep.

hope they bring a dedicated artwork lime these ladies back in painting - perhaps more halal knowing the now culture of Pakistan.
One each for Hangor(shark), Shushuk(dolphin), Mangro(Mangrove) and the whichever is Ghazi.
And then maybe they name one more after a local sea predator - like PNS Jidd (Barracuda)

Does anybody here know whether Pakistan currently is looking to pursue acquisition of some kind of nuclear submarine, mini or large? We need to have at least 1 to ensure MAD. (And with that some ICBMs) This must be the highest priority. The higher ups would understand this fully but there isn’t even a whisper or rumour about that. Recently some Indian ex-pharts have been parroting this outlandish BS that Pakistan is trying to build ICBMs that could target mainland USA.

While people make big deal out of Nuclear Submarine a conventional Submarine is just as impact-full

Nuclear Submarine can stay in Ocean for 365 days or longer

Conventional Submarine can stay active in Ocean for 30 Days at time before it needs , refuelling.

For Pakistan the conventional platform is enough because we don't have need to patrol Pacific or Atlantic ocean , we are mostly concerned with
Local Oceans or Red Sea
