Wait, here is what i don't get:

How is our Govt giving out these "scholarships" to foreigners when our own people are struggling, we ourselves have high population which needs assistance so why are we extending this to afghans ?

Why not bring Tajiks, Uzbeks, Kazakhs? Why only Afghans? Why not give it to the Palestinians? Agar deni hai to aisay loagon ko Dein jo humse Nafrat na kerte hon.
There are very very few afghans who understand geopolitics and have a normal/soft corner for Pakistan. Most of them hate us and always show it. So why are we bending over to them?? They are the ones who has actually tarnished the good reputation of the Pathan people, our KP people are the first victims of this.
They get lumped with afghanis and the hate they get is all from that.

We're a poor country (economically at this time) and this whole thing needs to be changed. At the very very least, only allow capable(money wise) female students who will guarantee that they will leave Pakistan at the end of the degree/housejob and not get involve in any way against Pakistan and its people. The men do not, and should not be given visas or admissions. They r troublemakers and this has been proven many times. Our own massive population deserves the spots in schools and colleges FIRST. Even if u look at KP or Balochistan, there's millions of students that deserve it first being Pakistani. Why these afghans getting priority, specially in medical?

Time to shut that Embassy and Consulates in afghanistan for good. Close the borders and keep em shut. Theyre attacking us being an indian proxy and we need to resolve that first, obviously also what watandar mentioned that complete solution needs to be implemented.

there is a big difference between America and Pakistan (geographically, economically, population wise, accomodation wise, opportunities, etc).
America is able to absorb immigrants/refugees and people can build their lives and have opportunities. Whole world wants to go to America and settle there. They have immigration/lottery program and actively accept immigrants.

As I said, have you seen the length and the topography & terrain of the Durand line? Have you got a million troops to man it and close it? There are network of caves, dry river beds, hills all along the border. Closing the border is a fools errand and I'm sure the establishment knows it, no wonder they haven't done any serious effort to plug it.

What Pakistan needs to do is to either grow a pair and take the war inside Afghanistan cause as long as this war is being fought in Pakistan, we are losing, no matter how many Tangos u smoke.

If you can't grow a pair, then look for some alternative way. Deluding yourself into ideas of sealing the borders is futile. Also, cross border smuggling is a huge money machine for the establishment itself, so good luck closing the goddamn border
