Once in Kashgar, it will give more incentive to extending south to Pakistan and the warm water ports of Pakistan on the Indian Ocean.

Bravado, many delusional Indians still harbor their sick dream of "Great British India Empire" the colonial Britain had drawn on the map in the early 20th century, now many Indians still talk of liberating and possibly annexing Tibet/Xizang and Xinjiang, and maybe swallowing up or at least breaking up Pakistan too. 1962 war hasn't taught Indians anything not to mess with China, that's why China should never help or invest in India to develop its infra and industries.

Sichuan-Tibet railway, total length 1,838 kilometers, over 95% of the railway is elevated or tunnels, the longest tunnel is 43 kilometers.

The railway needs to claim over 4,000 meters uphill, cross 14 Asia's major rivers, go through 21 tall mountains over 4,000 meters.
